What a FIND!! The atmosphere is amazing and the food is even better! The portion sizes were great, and all of the flavors were perfection. This place is going to become my new obsession. They have seasonal menus and limited menus so what they do, they do well.
*no ac, can be hot inside in the summer (still worth it)
*no “kids” menu, so don’t expect chicken fingers, grilled cheeses or mac and cheese for the kiddos. All items are suited to adults and are adult-sized portions.

We had the Bolognese that was hearty and tasty along with the Fish & Chips which are fantastically ginormous, hot and juicy. So hot and juicy they almost fell out of the crispy batter!

The service was nice. However, the food was subpar. I’m from the South so I was excited for some chicken and waffles. However, there wasn’t much flavor, the waffles felt like the kind I could make at home, and the gravy was terrible. My mom and I did like their cut of bacon but wished it had brown sugar or was seasoned in any way. The chicken was tasteless and wasnt crispy at all. We were so disappointed. Thank God we asked for the gravy on the side. The biggest issue was that it gave us food poisoning. My mother and I only had the brunch to eat all day. (we ate half at the restaurant and the rest for dinner). We were sick the rest of the day and night. I really hope they fix it because they have some potential.

Excellent attentive service and the food was excellent. Try the fried mushrooms! The truffle fries were perfection. My table was serviced quickly and each dish was delicious. The signature cocktails were great too! Can’t wait to return and try more items.

Great brunch spot and good prices. It’s in an old house and it feels warm, cozy, with English pub vibes. I like going here in the winter when it’s cold out and getting Eggs Benedict. Everything is cooked well and the hollandaise is rich and creamy. The steak is generous and rich. I like the taste of the butter baste and fries. My go to is the avocado toast on Macrina bread. I would say that I enjoy their avocado toast better than Macrina’s down the street. The avocado is nice and creamy and it feels more decadent. They have a great kids menu and the prices are cheap. My kids love the eggs and pancakes and this saved money for a family of 4.
Summer time is wonderful outside. I feel like I’m eating al fresco on a farm. It’s nice vibes, great service and hard working chefs.
The only dishes that I wasn’t fond of were the pasta and the seafood for the dinner menu. They both tasted fine but the seasoning was slightly lacking for the price point. These are minor things. I will say that the chicken kabob is outstanding and I love the generous portion of meat and the hummus platter is huge.
As you can tell, I’ve eaten here a lot. My critique is minor and everything is 5.

Nice spot in Northgate for lunch or dinner. It’s a converted house with a lot of style and a dark wood look. The food is great, especially the meatloaf and fish & chips. The fish is lightly battered and very fresh. They have a nice bar with some very original drinks. Good service too, they are subtle but very attentive. They also have a good sized outdoor heated area in the back. Great spot!

Love this place! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and tasty food. We try to eat here about once a month. Only small gripe is that the menu has relatively few options compared to a lot of restaurants; we’d probably go here even more often if there was more to choose from on the menu.

Ok this place is so cute!!! It’s inside an old house so it was quaint and cozy. Great idea to do I thought! The bloody Mary’s were spot on. I tend not to like them and every time we go to brunch I order one hoping I’ll like it. I did and ordered two! It was a win! You can add a mini beer for $2 so why not. I honestly thought my meal was too rich but if you like cambozola cheese then get this dish. I got the Croque Madame and I usually stick to what I know but I wanted to try something different. I still ate it all! My friend said the chicken and waffles were the best he ever had. Whoo-hoo! The brunch burger was great I had a bite and my husband enjoyed it very much. I’ll be getting that the next time around! The service was excellent and they were on it even though it was very busy. I highly recommend trying The Maple. I also have been here during the summer months and had their frozen cocktails on the deck. All great!

I live nearby and came in for brunch this morning, after looking at the excellent reviews. After sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes, I flagging down the bartender, who then did come up to me, but was quite rude. She turned out to be the manager as well, so I decided to leave and go some place else. This was disappointing, as I’ve enjoyed their food before (takeout) and the place would be convenient to grab a weekend bite at. I looked again at their reviews, and all the recent 1 star reviews are about the level of service during brunch, so hopefully the management/owners can look into that.

Had two eggs scrambled with cheese, potatoes and sausage for Saturday brunch- delicious! Sat outside and enjoyed the patio and beer garden. Loved the eccentric coffee mug choices. Good service. Menu changes regularly. Would come back again!
