This delightful restaurant, conveniently located not far from Dulles Airport, is a must-visit whether you’re exploring the area or simply in search of a great dining spot. The space is clean, the portions are generous, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable.

Wonderful food. Be sure to ask for olive oil and balsamic for the bread. We tried the fettuccine Alfredo and stuffed shells. There was one waiter that successfully kept everyone well fed and happy. Salad was good and options were on the larger size. Definitely worth stopping in.

We loved Cantuna D’Italia. The food was tasty. The salmon was very fresh, and the pasta was delicious! I loved my chicken piccada! And the fettuccine was perfect, not too heavy! If you’re a pasta lover, def try them! You will not be disappointed.

The food was amazing. Every single item was perfectly made. We got their Cesar and house salads, fried mozzarella, manicotti, pêne sunrise and the shrimp scampi. Everything came with warm, perfectly baked bread. The service was also amazing. We got takeout, but the interaction was so lovely. Absolutely coming back – my new go to Italian spot. So authentic.

This place absolutely had the best food ever ! A very laid back setting with Italian vibes – be sure to go when you have lot of time on your hand ! The place is crowded on weekends and service takes time. But it’s so worth the food – I have tried numerous dishes and every single one is amazing ! Huge portion sizes as well – would highly recommend.

Positives: Massive portions for price. Pasta was cooked well, and the veal was tender. Very clean and beautiful interior. Attentive wait staff and quick service despite our large group! Impressed by their selection and food.
Negatives: We had to send back the lemonade–it tasted awful and out of date.

This was my parents’ favourite neighborhood restaurant and it’s quickly become one of mine too! Family owned & operated, the team takes the time to get to know you during your visits. The portions are overwhelming; you get so much for your money, there’s plenty to share or for a second meal at home. The Italian-inspired fare is superb…and Cantina makes what is honestly one of the best spicy marinara sauces I’ve ever tasted. Sneaky good craft beer selection too! Will visit again (and again).

A “hidden” gem. This unassuming restaurant just delivers. We mostly do takeout for convenience. It’s less than 10 minutes from home, portions are large, and prices are moderate.
Their pizzas are good, pastas are great, and their salads awesome. Their house/garden salad is big, with very fresh veggies and a very tasty oil and vinegar dressing. The Caesar salad is top shelf, with great homemade dressing.
Calamari is another favorite, typically with a perfectly crispy chewy texture. To go, they leave the container open a bit to maintain texture. All orders come with what appears to be freshly baked bread, and a generous amount of butter.
We usually visit the Herndon location, but there’s another location in Fair Lakes with the same reputation.
Portions are large. My wife and I usually share a salad and appetizer, with a single entrée.

Definitely glad I tried this place out. The portions are large enough to have some to take home. Every meal we ordered has been fresh, flavorful, and delicious. It’s definitely a family style restaurant, the manager walks around and greets people. Relax, take your time, and enjoy your meal.
