Nice little place but the food isn’t worth it. First off NOT repeat NOT Texas style in any way BBQ. They said the owner learned BBQ in El Paso Texas. Sorry but anyone that knows food knows that El Paso food takes after New Mexico and Arizona style. Nothing remotely close to Texas style in any way. The pork(shredded/pulled) tastes the same as the brisket. The brisket was shredded/pulled as well. Slice your brisket and only slice it when the order is has been taken. Small portions and large price. Don’t understand how this place has stayed open over 10 years but it’s better than the place across the river in OHIO. Better pray a real Texas Pitmaster doesn’t open up here. Again, don’t waste your time or your money

Ordered 6 lunches with sides to go, service was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Labeled each lunch with specific name, and was ready in maybe 15 minutes. Portions were large and cooked perfectly. I ordered a single order of brisket cheese fries and it was enough for 2 people easily. Easily worth the money.

So my wife and I were out on the bike on my birthday and I wanted BBQ! So I did some research in the Tri State Area and seen this place. I’m so Happy we decided to stop here! So I got the Sampler Platter, it was 3 Rib bones, Pulled Pork Slider, Brisket, Shredded Chicken Wrap, beans and potato salad. My wife got the Shredded Chicken Quesadilla’s and Fries! So everything was Fantastic but the Ribs were in a league all on their own!! So Mason Dixon BBQ is definitely in the Top 3 Best BBQ and the Ribs are the best I’ve Tasted Anywhere!! And my Wife is very picky and a BBQ snob and Absolutely Loved this place! And it’s Owner is a Veteran. Please check this place out if you’re in the mood for Great Q!!

Small local bbq joint in Moundsville servicing one of the best tasting pulled pork I had. The smokey taste of the pulled pork hit the spot just right. Each meal comes with tasty fries.
I would also recommend ribs and their sauce.
This is order at the counter type of restaurant but the staff is very helpful and will bring the food out to your table.
Have not seen any outdoor seating but the place has a half a dozen tables inside.

The service was great the food was greater and the proportions will last a few days.. Can’t believe this was the first time I’ve eaten here but it will not be the last. Great to see a small business doing such a great job. They have my support and my business

I rolled into Moundsville not realizing what was in store. I travel for work and wandered over from Ohio. Out sightseeing of all days, July 4th. I like to eat at local spots as often as possible and never did imagined my tastebuds would be forever changed!!! I’ve had BBQ all over the country and YALL!!!! This is hands down THE BEST I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE!!! I asked the server of the cooks were just showing out today or if this was normal. I’m guessing by the awards on the entry wall, it’s an every day thing.

My wife and I got the bbq brisket wrap with soda and I got a Mac and cheese. The brisket wrap was dry and tasted burnt. The BBQ sauce taste straight like a1 sauce. The Mac and cheese was good but for 3.50 you should get more than 3 tble spoons worth. My wife’s soda was flat took it back and was given new soda which was also flat. I know for $43.00 it was not worth it. Will not be returning.
