MacKenzie River Pizza Co. is where adventurers gather to savor unique, scratch-made meals in a setting inspired by the great outdoors. Our South Kalispell location is situated on the south side of Kalispell along U.S. Highway 93, a major route through the Flathead Valley. It’s just a short drive from downtown Kalispell and not far from outdoor attractions like Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. The MacKenzie River menu features an incredible array of delectable dishes, always flavorful and fresh, and served up in heaping portions.

Hands down the best Mackenzie River in the Valley!!! The new 406 Summer Menu is amazing! The ribs are fall off the bone! The pizza is always so tasty. The staff here is so friendly! Jade was such a great server and the Manager Savannah is a rockstar! Love Mackenzie River and love this location!

Came in at 2 PM during the summer and had a Wrangler sandwich and a good old boy pizza. They both were phenomenal…we enjoyed an appetizer- Bavarian pretzel, and it was scrumptious as well.
Our server Kaili was friendly, professional and efficient. Rock star service.

Good pizza! Lodgepoles are garlicky and delicious, solid sandwiches and pasta options. Tbh the star of the show is the house dressing, I could drink it like soup (or…ya know…put it over lettuce, pears, and carrots with grape nuts and eat it like a regular person ♀️) My favorite pizza is the hot Hawaiian, and yes, pineapple belongs on pizza.

First review I have ever posted
Mackenzie River Pizza never disappoints—the atmosphere is always great and I’ve enjoyed every visit. But this past Sunday night truly stood out. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced, in my entire life!
Jess went above and beyond the norm, making the evening exceptional. I’ve been here several times and it’s consistently wonderful, but this visit was next level. Highly recommend!

This is one of those restaurants you find when traveling you wish you had back home. The restaurant is laid out, so your table does not have to shout at each other. Small,.intimate booths vs large open concept. The music selection was also spot on with classic 90’s and early 2000’s.
The food was amazing to be blunt. The house salad came with pear, crushed pecans, and a choice of dressing. The huckleberry salad was fresh and had real huckleberry. The artichoke appetizer was the only meh item as needed, something more to make it pop. The Buffalo Mac was great and wish I could get it again. Though the bread stick could have been made fresh, then store bought.
Kids loves the cheese pizza and even liked the crust. Hopefully in time they will find their way to California.

I’ve had a lot of pizza from a lot of places. I’m not a local, my dad and uncle are. My dad swears by this place.
Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had.
I don’t have teeth, the thick crust was soft and tasted amazing.
My wife got a wrap, she said it was outstanding. She almost always finds something wrong with the food, even if it’s a minor thing, but had 0 complaints at all.
The huckleberry lemonade drink had real huckleberries in it and was very good. The waitress we had was very helpful, super polite, and friendly.
The huckleberry cheesecake was also delicious.
Out front is a moose statue made from several metal parts, cogs, wheels, and more. Great for pictures.
Overall? 11/10 I’ll hold all pizza places to a higher standard now.

the food here was so bad. the service was incredibly slow and then once we got our food, it was ice cold. our server was very kind but we saw her maybe 3 times the whole evening. the food was also completely overpriced for what we got. I ordered their tuscan penne with chicken which was $17 and what I got was frozen precooked chicken that you could get a walmart, bland pasta, and some sort of spicy sauce that was super watery (see image).

My son and I decided to try this place out for lunch…… The BEST decision we’ve ever made was coming here! First right out the gate the waitress we had her name was Jade and she was an absolute doll!! She took care of our every need as quick as we could think them up and the food was AMAZ-BALLZ!! I enjoyed every moment I was there, and as far as the atmosphere, forget about it, it was so chill my 3 year old crashed out right out the gate. We will definitely be coming back over time and time again!!!

Dining at Mackenzie River Pizza in Kalispell was warranted, we thought, due to the recommendations of past visitors. The decor is nice and the atmosphere fairly quiet. We went to the hostess desk and were met by a rather unfriendly girl who spoke one word, “Two?” and then sat us down without another word. She greeted everyone in the 45 minute period we were by the desk the same way. But a shining star was our server, Contessia. She seemed to be bombarded with tables but she was friendly, happy, and very pleasant. I ordered a Bloody Mary and I have to say it was in the top 5 worst Bloody Mary’s I have ever had in my years. I couldn’t even finish it. My wife ordered the Caesar salad and it was prepared well and was tasty. I ordered the Wedge salad and it was enormous and very good. We had for our entrees, the Humble Pie pizza with Fontina, olive oil, and garlic as well as the Pesto Linguine with chicken. Both were excellent and the pasta was one of the best pesto’s I have tasted. All in all, not bad but I would hesitate to visit again soon.
