Ruined food for party!! Ordered 6 pizzas and bread sticks online the night before our event for a pickup time of 5pm. Was there at 5:15 and when we brought the pizza and bread sticks home to the oarty, 5 of the 6 pizzas were burned and the bread sticks were hard as a rock.

I had to come to Brighton for something w my son and on our way back we both agreed we were hungry. We were going to stop by tomato brothers for lunch on our way but passed Gus’s. I thought to stop in and grab a couple slices and wasn’t disappointed. It was hot and fresh right away and tasted amazing. Everyone in the store was super friendly and I was in and out of there much faster than I expected. The pizza tastes amazing!

Got some lasagna, bread sticks, mostaccoli, and Greek salad for a catering order. Everything was on time and fresh. The pastas were very good, especially the lasagna. Breadsticks were great and the salad was gorgeous with loads of toppings.
The only thing (not quite enough to knock off a star) was the Greek dressing. Not really sure if this is just how it is here or if just a subpar batch but it was very acidic (lemon juice, vinegary) and borderline unpleasant to eat a significant amount of, which is a shame because the salad itself was fantastic.

We used to love Gus’s pizza but sadly it has gone downhill. Our last pizza we got (pictured) was1/2 crust and 1/2 pizza. This has happened the past few times so it doesn’t appear to be a one time incident.
12/12/23 Update: We have since ordered their mostaccioli and lasagna meals for 4 which comes with a greek salad and breadsticks and those have been fabulous every time! I would 100% recommend either of those over their pizza.

I called to order a customized greek salad. I had my husband pick up the order, but forgot to tell him that it was a special order salad. When he got there they told him to grab a normal salad out of the case. I called them to complain when he got home and I saw it was not correct. I said that it seemed like after the girl heard me say greek salad she didn’t listen to the actual order and the managers response was, “well we make 100 greek salads a day”. Ok, So then why couldn’t you get it right with all that expertise? Rude comment to a paying customer. They did refund the salad, but they’re very rude. I don’t recommend them anymore.

Ordered tailgate special with some add ons and sadly this is a first and last order from Gus’s for our family. Chicken was very dry, pasta over cooked and the cheese on top cooked so much we needed to cut with a knife. A Greek salad @$30 that was old and a bit saugy. Breadsticks were a hit though!!!
At almost $200 we won’t be back!

2 months I wrote a review of the same issue I had tonight. Because I decided to give them another chance. BAD CHOICE! The last 2 times I have ordered a Blackened Chicken salad no yellow pepper, there is very little chicken (picture attached). Those that have been to Gus’s know when you take on out of the cooler the top is covered in chicken. I tried to call no answer and the voicemail is full ! To the owner that responded to my last review. I did call before I wrote the review the manager didn’t want to make it right !!! He just said sorry. That is why I wrote the review. The customer service is terrible. The food quality isn’t what it once was.

If you think of ordering here don’t, or maybe don’t order anything with chicken. Ordered a Caesar here with my meal and chicken was undercooked and I now have food poisoning.

Ordered a 4 piece meal. Service at the counter was good. When I got home, I saw there were 2 thighs, 1 leg, and 1 wing with a pool of oil at the bottom of the container. I called and asked if a breast was included in the 4 piece meal. A young male said sometimes. I told him, I received 2 thighs, a wing, and a leg. He said ‘sorry about that’. I said, gee it was disappointing for a $20 meal. He said, “did you want me to do something about it” in a not so friendly manner. I told him, from your voicetone it doesn’t sound like you want to help and hung up. If this type of service continues, this place will lose business.
