I recently ordered a custom cake to be picked up at a later date (approx. 2 weeks after the order was made). It was a gift for my boyfriend to celebrate our 1 year of meeting and I was anxious of how the cake would look overall. I had asked my mom to pick up the cake and I even asked the baker prior if she could do it since I would be at work at the time and the baker said it would be okay as long as she had the receipt (which she did). We agreed to a 5 PM pick up time.
About an hour before my mom and I met, she called to inform me that she went to the bakery and there was no one but a trainee there and my cake couldn’t be found. My mom said she asked for both my name and hers in case the baker put that down in the notes and described the cake in detail but the trainee did not know where it was nor saw any cake that matched the description. I was in shock and panicking on what to do but luckily, my mom got a hold of the Manager and she had given her a chance to receive a new cake from the display, free of charge.
I am disappointed in how I couldn’t get my original cake but I am thankful for the manager who took action in helping my mom and essentially me in turn. In the end, the new cake was delicious and my boyfriend & me enjoyed eating it during his visit. I will never order a custom cake from this bakery again.

Will not shop here, they have locked up the ice-cream cause we are all criminals now they want me to show them a receipt when leaving, this is not costco I do not pay a fee to shop here.
