Absolutely the Best Chinese Food Ever!
If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! Every single dish is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and served fresh and hot. The portions are generous, and the prices are almost too good to be true — you get incredible quality without breaking the bank.
My boyfriend and I come here every week for the lunch specials, and they never disappoint! The food is always amazing, the staff is super friendly, and the service is quick. You can really tell they care about what they make and the people they serve. From the crispy egg rolls to the tender beef and broccoli, everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and authentic.

We had an amazing experience at Golden Dragon! The food was absolutely delicious — the Mongolian beef was excellent, the honey walnut shrimp was fabulous, and the garlic string beans (which I normally don’t even like) were a hit with everyone else. The orange chicken was great, the veggie chow fun was awesome, and the egg drop soup was to die for. Highly recommend this place — everything we tried was full of flavor and cooked perfectly!

This place has the absolute BEST egg flower soup. It actually has more than a little egg and a couple of chives in it. The Happy Family is the bomb! Try the Salt Baked Shrimp, soo crunchy. For appetizer have the Poo Poo platter, the best of everything. I’ve tried many dishes and have never been disappointed in a meal. I’ve eaten at every chinese restaurant in Placerville for the 40+ years I’ve lived here and Grand China IS the BEST!!! Go you will not be disappointed if so I’ll have one of my cows give you a kiss. Just joking

Stopped here randomly today and was lucky to discover the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Recently began eating more tofu and the Sesame Tofu at this restaurant is the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fast and delicious. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive. The portions were generous, delicious, and well planned. If you get a chance go during lunch and enjoy a fantastic lunch special. Chinese new year is coming in February and this would be a great place to celebrate.

The best Chinese food, great portions ,great prices and amazing staff! I recently ordered takeout and was on an important phone call when I had to pick up my order, hauling my two young kids along… I felt so rude being on the phone, but I was on a time pinch and needed to get the food. With all the chaos, I ended up leaving my wallet at the restaurant. One of the employees went above and beyond and just delivered my wallet to my house. Talk about AMAZING service! Please go to this restaurant and support them, they deserve it! Plus you will also get amazing food!

Hands down the best Chinese cuisine in this area! The service is so wonderful- you feel welcomed and just happy to be there. And the food is so tasty and fresh. Ive been in the food industry for a while now and I can always tell who takes the time to make everything fresh and delicious and so worth any penny spent. Absolutely love everything about this hidden gem! It’s a delicious Chinese-American restaurant with great staff and a lovely interior. We ordered sweet and sour pork, chicken and vegetables, chicken chow mein, and Twice-Cooked Pork which was apart of their lunch special that come with your choice of entree and regular rice or fried rice with a vegetable egg roll and crispy wonton wrapper. This special comes to around 11-13 dollars per plate. If you’re ever in town or willing to make the drive, you would not be disappointed. Love this place and crave it all the time!

We took a party of 18 in for my daughter’s birthday she loves their food. Service was good. The cook came and wished my daughter a happy birthday and checked on us a few times. Made it a very pleasant visit. This was the best service I have seen in a long time
