Storrs Smokehouse is Newberg’s Best Kept Secret — a wood-fired barbecue joint serving true Oregon-style BBQ in the heart of wine country. We smoke everything over locally sourced wood and make every sauce and rub from scratch. Our brisket brings people from hours away, our pulled pork is a local favorite, and our Cathead biscuits have their own fan club. All meats and sauces are completely gluten-free.
More than great food, Storrs is an experience — boots on the floor, smoke in the air, outlaw country playing, and plates that take days to prepare. What we serve only exists here. Whether you’re a local regular or visiting Newberg for wine tasting, come see why guests keep saying Storrs Smokehouse should be on every Oregon BBQ list.
Casual joint serving classic BBQ & sandwiches with beer & wine in a rustic shack setting.

This is the most underrated restaurant in newburgh.Absolutely fabulous; rustic, yet, bougie and stylish. Everything is fresh. Real wood smoked barbecue right out back ( locally sourced from oregonwood from farms next door). Super fast service in and out of the few tables they have. Totally worth your time and your crazy, if you don’t stop here. If you aren’t a smoked out fan, don’t waste your time. You might not be cool enough to come here.

We stopped in for a quick lunch in our way out. We were greeted by very friendly people whom seemed to be the owners. The price were great and our food was served quickly. The smoky flavor was just right along with scrutiny was tender and juicy. It was a 4 napkin meal!!!! What a great little gem.

I eat here for lunch pretty regularly and it never disappoints. The brisket is outstanding. You can tell they know what they’re doing with BBQ.
Hands down the best BBQ for miles. If you haven’t tried the brisket sandwich yet, you’re missing out.

Thank the BBQ Gods!! Tender brisket with a smoke ring and black bark that takes you to meat heaven. Collards- I’m picky…bit too much vin and needed to get a bit more tender…’They should melt in your mouth’ @kevinhart. The pork belly burnt ends were salty, smoky sweet and definitely on the re-order!!

Fantastic BBQ food here. The brisket plate was delicious. Portion size was a little smaller than expected, but the flavor made up for it. I would come here again.

It was ok. We arrived at 530pm and they were already out of baked beans and chicken, the pickels were tiny, as was the side of coleslaw considering the price. But the food was still pretty good.

So good!! The aroma from the grill out back invites you in. The music selection was perfect ambience for the smells and tastes. The owner was friendly as he took our order and let us sit down for a moment to decide what we’d like. The Bruin Grilled Cheese was AMAZING. My partner and I fought over who got to have the last bites. The Mac n chz, delish! The pulled pork, succulent!! Sauces were tasty. Everything was so great, 10/10, we will be back!

They have great food, but mine was a little tough. I had brisket and it was a little bit difficult to cut. Great flavor on the smoked meat. If you are looking for a semi-quiet place, this is not a good choice. After it filled up, it was a little difficult hearing each other.

We’ve been stopping here for years and been happy- until last night.
We ordered take away online. We ordered 2 brisket sandwiches with everything. For $36.
We were very disappointed. The sandwich is small, the meat was good but there was no toppings such as kraut. The pickle slice was so skinny that it nearly blended into the crease in the box. The 3 sides ($0.25ea were fine)
There were no napkins or utensils in the bag. We were given sauces in separate containers.
We won’t be going back- there’s plenty of other options in town.

I love the pork ribs, lean and so tender, tasty as well. The chicken wings were good but served kind of cold, instead of hot. My husband liked his chicken. The Mac and cheese was very tasty. So new ownership, we met him. More power to him. I always like to support locally-owned businesses. That’s where we’ll go!
We’ll come back for sure even though it’s quite a drive from Portland.
