I had a very unpleasant experience at Firehouse Subs due to the customer service from Irman, who I believe is the manager. He was rude while taking our order, not helpful at all, and repeatedly talked over me when I was trying to explain what I wanted. It felt rushed, dismissive, and very disrespectful.
If this is how management treats customers, it’s extremely disappointing. Managers should set the example for good customer service, not make guests feel uncomfortable or ignored. This experience has definitely made me think twice about returning to this location.

I ordered the French dip to go and an order of fries. The fries were barely warm and the sandwich was dry, didn’t have much meat and they didn’t even give me the Au jus which I didn’t notice until I got home.

It’s my second or third time at this location and everytime it’s quick and friendly service. It was relatively empty since they’d just opened. Cashier was patient with me while I decided what sub to get after my husband made his choice . I ended up getting the Large Hero. Wish they had Hot Chettos. Wait was about 5 or so minutes. Will return and recommend.

I have never had a bad experience at FHS until today. I typically go to a different location closer to home. This location I tried today was dirty (floors and tables), got my name wrong (even though I used my points and my name is on the ticket), the sandwich was sloppy, no flavor and had items on it I asked to be removed (onions). I was disappointed with this experience especially since I thought FHS were all the same as my home location. The food and cleanliness (lack of) needs attention! The parking at this location is pretty bad and after my experience, so not worth the hassle. What a shame. I love FHS’s Engineer sandwiches, but this one today was very disappointing. If I never had the pleasure of a wonderful FHS and this was my first experience, I would never enter another location ever. My location near home was given 5 start when I reviewed them. I guess I will stick with my location.

Best subs in Houston, Texas. Fresh ingredients and made to order. I casually mentioned that it was our first time there on a referral from my daughter. And the female attendants were ever so friendly, explaining the entire setup /menu even recommending the most popular menu items. The service was great. The place is quaint, clean with a festive atmosphere and historical memorabilia decor. Paying tribute to Firefighters & First Responders as American as Apple Pie. Definitely worth a trip. With various locations to serve you.

I was there today for lunch, 10/7/25, and the lady behind the register should not be interacting with the public. What a Debbie Downer attitude and horrible interaction with the public. Secondly, they might want to wipe down and clean the tables occasionally.
