The food was decent but the chicken was a little dry and overcooked and way too much sauce on the ribs for my taste, the mixed greens were really good though.
This was my first time there, but I would give it another try. Gotta try the turkey wings next time.

I’m originally from Miami but currently visiting from out of town, and this establishment is a place my parents frequent often. I’ve also eaten here myself whenever I’m back home, so this review is coming from genuine, repeated customer experience not a one-time visit.
Today, in addition to my mom’s order, I asked her to add a side of collard greens and cornbread for me. The total for my items came to $6.01. My mom handed the cashier a $20 bill. Instead of receiving $13.99 in change, she was only given $13.95 shorted $0.04.
While we were on the way home, my mom told me what happened. I checked my purse and happened to have $0.01, so I turned around and went back inside to request $0.05 in change to correct the shortage.
The cashier then had the nerve to call me petty and said, “Really? Over $0.04?” I responded, “Really? Over $0.01?” because at the end of the day, it’s the principle. Money is money, and customers deserve the correct change back, no matter the amount.
Another employee came from the back saying there’s a “change shortage,” yet there is no sign posted anywhere informing customers of this. If there truly is a shortage, that needs to be communicated before transactions not after customers notice they’ve been shorted.
Please, if you plan on visiting, double-check your receipts and your change, and consider bringing exact cash. Clearly, shorting customers even by a few cents isn’t taken seriously here, and addressing it gets you labeled as petty instead of respected as a paying customer.

Went here trying to find something else to eat for lunch. I was greeted very kindly by the woman at the counter. They have a really big menu and lots of items. I had the turkey wings, rice and peas, Mac n cheese, and candied yams. Plus we got an Arnold Palmer and banana pudding and peach cobbler. The turkey wings were fall off the bone. The candied yams were the best side, maintaining sweetness, without being too sweet. The rice and peas were very flavorful. The banana pudding was great. 5/5 – I’ll be back for lunch again!

I have enjoyed their food for years. This year for Thanksgiving we catered from here. This was the worst food ive ever eaten. The rice was hard the dressing looked like burt cornbread and tasted like dried cornbread, no gravy, no meat. The yams looked like building red blocks. This was like the food that the family member that can’t cook brings but at least you can chew their rice. Who can’t cook rice. Felt they took mty$300 and took the unwanted dishes from last year and served it to us. Worst Thanksgiving I had.

Overall good experience and wide selection of menu items to choose from. Service was good and only waited about 10 minutes for food. If you order seafood, you are able to see it in the front counter to order before it’s cooked so I think I will try the fried conch next time. Portions were very generous and sides were good. I was happy with the mixed greens but the Mac and cheese couldn’t have been a bit hotter. Will definitely return to try additional items.

Now this place sells some real good soul food. You get a good portion and its affordable. You”ll get full for sure. The wait time is reasonable. It can get crowded at times but they move. The people here are professional and courteous. The only downside to it is that the parking can be a hassle bc the parking lot is so small and if you park anywhere else your car will get towed. But the security up front tries to accommodate and help you park.

My friends and I are visiting from out of town and wanted to try some of the local spots. I’m so glad we stumbled on World’s Famous Rib Shack! We went there 2 days in a row! Saturday for breakfast and Sunday for dinner. Neither meal disappointed. You get a lot of food for the price and it’s very tasteful. Miami don’t sleep on this cozy spot. I will definitely come again whenever I’m in town
