Went to this little place that my husband has been to before and got lunch. He ordered the sampler appetizer and the fried egg burger. I ordered the cheeseburger w/fries and a cup of cheese sauce . The sampler was very good and consisted of fried pickles, chicken tenders, mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, poppers, and onion petals. I ordered my burger medium and it was juicy! Very good burgers. The fries are a little bit like a Rally’s fry except for the black pepper, but super crispy and good! The cheese sauce was yummy . Our server Kendell was awesome and took very good care of us! Very small and quaint little restaurant with amazing food. A must try!

We had the bourbon burgers. They were good. I did not like the sauce as much as I thought I would. The meat was good and properly cooked. The fries were good but not great. The excellent service brought it up to a 5 star review. She appeared to be the only person in the front of the house. It was a slow day (12/30).

Terrible! Not a steakhouse at all. Everyone dressed like slobs. Workers grabbing food for plates from the salad bar bare handed. Husband did not get cheese on his sandwhich so they brought him a cold piece of cheese and said sorry it isn’t all pretty and melted he also didn’t get his fries. Food do not taste good and I was sick all evening after eating there. Would not recommend and will never go back!

Who knew that the best food in Illinois could be found I a little, backwoods, hole in the wall bar and grill in Grayville, IL. If this place was anywhere close to a large metropolitan area, they could easily charge twice what our food cost us. Spectacular meal, with huge portions, brought to us by the sweetest server: who could ask for more!

Was referred by a friend. Service was fast and friendly. Waitress enjoys her job.
Catfish is excellent, no muddy fat taste, crispy coating and meat not overcooked.
Definitely will return. Wife and I shared the Catfish dinner.

Traveling down I-64 and Googled somewhere to eat and this seemed to be the only game in (several) town(s)…and it was excellent! If you’re not a local, expect to be looked at and whispered about, but in a curious -not bad- way. I get the feeling not many out-of-towners stop in. The steak was excellent and well-cooked at medium-rare, service was friendly, and prices reasonable. If I’m ever back this way I’ll make a point to stop back by!

Asked for a place to eat at a local station. Wow did we hit the jackpot! We have 5 grandkids with us, everyone had a great meal. It was the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever ate! The waitress was patient with the kiddos too. Great food at a good price, highly recommend!

Upside: Staff friendly and efficient. Good menu. Price reasonable. Looked like where the locals go. Place seemed clean. 2 dinners (smoked pork chops) drinks and appetizer was about $45.
Downside: None really, appears parking may be tight when busy.
