Great little bbq place with good sized portions, plenty of tasty sides to choose from and an awesome staff that helps accommodate the wife’s allergies. The prices are not “beach-tourists” prices. Opened during the off season. We ate New Year’s Day and enjoyed the relaxed vibe. Grilled chicken, pulled bbq pork and lots of sides is what we enjoyed. Our young server was excellent, friendly and attentive!

Been going there from day one and went to A&G as well before for decades combined. Stopped in today for a quick lunch decided to go with the hotdog special it was great even asked if they could grill them a little longer and they did. The barbeque and burgers are awesome as well, not to mention prices very reasonable.

To say bbq is a culture thing in North Carolina. Depending on area of state things may be different in style. We chose Butts n Such as local business. The bbq is eastern style with a vinegar base sauce. Also chopped in stead of pulled from hog. Butts n Such is a outstanding bbq restraunt!! These folks do it right. Tender and not dry. Hushpuppies are great. The potato salad was homemade. Bake beans were homemade. My wife had a bbq sandwich with slaw. Also had a cucumber salad with tomato and o ions in it. All homemade and fabulous flavor. If your looking to experience eastern bbq and home cooked meals, this is your place in Carolina Beach, NC. Also my wife was offered banana pudding. This was also homemade and excellent by her thoughts. Will return again.

It is incredibly hard to find a restaurant with the quality and service you will find at Butts-n-such. I cannot remember the last time I’ve had hard breaded from scratch fried okra.
The bbq sandwich was super lean and cooked to perfection with a warmed bun.
And the hush puppies alone are worth a stop.

the price is honestly great pretty good serving and it was all very yummy. mac and cheese and fries needed a bit more seasoning but there was condiments on the table so no issue. whoever served me today was really nice and pretty would def come back. awesome place

Absolutely amazing find! We chose this place because we thought the name was great but the food and service was incredible. Tammi was fantastic and friendly and attentive. We had the meatloaf and the BBQ. Both were fantastic. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend this place to everyone.

Good BBQ place on Carolina Beach. The server was amazing. She took orders from tables, togo window, collected money and kept smiling the entire time.
The Fried Chicken was good but not great. The best part was the hush puppies. I am not a hush puppies fan, but these were small and tasty.
Did not like the outside bathroom.
