Listen this place should not have a 4 plus star rating. I went in today for the first time in years. It has changed. I spent a lot of money to get what I got. I ordered two house pho with extra meat and extra noodles. We definitely didn’t get extra meat. You will see the picture of how much extra noodles I got for $3.00 a box . I ordered a sandwich and it tasted like some kind of dog food mixed with tuna ♀️. Then I ordered the mango sticky rice and the amount you get for $8. Is a total waste. I was so upset about my sandwich and my husband and son were upset about basically getting 3 slices of meat , one meat ball cut into 4 and no tripe after paying for extra meat. None of us even bothered to try the sticky rice. Save your money and go to the lemon grass instead.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always loved the food. The quality is top tier especially for this area. I would say that the quality of service has definitely declined over time. Today an employee named Keyra took our order and she was extremely rude. When we walked in she didn’t greet us despite nobody else being in the store, she saw us but just walked to us and when we were at the register she still couldn’t (or just didn’t) even ask us what we wanted to order. Not a single question was asked other than what name the order was going to be under. I expressed to my sister how I felt when we were finished ordering (off to the side) and she kept staring at me the entire time we were waiting for our order. She was clearly able to greet and ask questions because she did so to the next customer. When she handed me our order, I asked her if the noodles were separated from the broth and she just stared at me with a blank face. When I asked her a second time, she robotically said, “Yeah.” Not one thank you and was very rude. It felt discriminatory. Even my four year-old child commented on how impolite she was. As much as I love the food here, this interaction ruined my dining experience.
(Once we got home we also realized that the quality of the food also declined) not sure if it was because we ordered to go, but we barely got any meat in the pho we ordered) I weighed it and it was 2 oz. worth of meat per bowl. Not right.

This place is so disappointing and really going downhill. The effort just isn’t there like it used to be. They hardly toast the bread, put so much sauce and the cilantro on it is wilty and nasty! Not to mention, the cucumbers that they used to slice thin are so thick! The meat is extremely fatty too and it’s overpriced for sure!

Whatever you do, do NOT order the mango sticky rice, you WILL waste your own money and it WILL leave you unsatisfied. We ordered one and the quantity was one you can finish in three bites, and I’m being generous. The sticky rice was THIN it looked like I was ordering nothing, and don’t get me started about the so called “mangoes” it tasted like peaches and it was grainy. It tasted as if im they were from a can and they gave like 4 itty bitty pieces. Even my mom can do better than this. Do what you will with my experience…and don’t order the mango sticky rice.

Wow. Well I left Lemongrass because they were awfully packed and it is Friday night. Called in Bahn mi to place an order for shrimp pho(as today is lent… btw)and a house special. I ended up getting home with my order which were two house specials, so one of the orders was incorrect .No basil, I clearly asked the girl multiple times if all the sides were there, she assured me they were and obviously wasn’t. The noodles were so clumped that they broke and were mushy- mind you I live 6 minutes away from here if that. I called multiple times at about 7:55 to speak to someone as they close at 8PM and no answer. This is seriously disappointing. Definitely not worth the price for the quality of service they deliver.

I tried a few other Vietnamese restaurants in the area and this was by far my favorite tasting. I think the food is quite good and I would normally be willing to make this place a bi-weekly meal.
But you cannot get over the terrible service. A young girl at the the front desk stared at me for a minute straight without saying anything when I arrived. I stood there for a minute wondering if she was going to say anything or not. I finally asked if she could take my order.
When she does, she doesn’t acknowledge me in anyway and just walks away, not a word. Some older lady came and made the sandwich and put it down for her. Apparently there was some miscommunication and the older lady thought the sandwich she made was a to-go order for someone else. I sit at my table and glance a few times, and the young girl even makes eye contact a few times. Still, my sandwich sat there for nearly 10 minutes until the older lady realized it was for me and scolded the younger girl for not telling her. I literally just sat there and that girl just stood there, knowing the sandwich was ready, knowing it was for me, and just not caring to give it to me or tell anyone. It was honestly insane.
I know that a lot of younger girls in this generation are just kind of like this for whatever reason. The only reason I can think that she works there is that she must be a relative. You are in a customer service job and cannot even provide a simple greeting or acknowledgment.
This is only a description of the most recent visit. The time before that was nearly as bad with the same girl.

First time here, and I loved it! We ordered the Tofu Banh Mi and it was so frickin good! The marinade that’s on the tofu is delicious, the veggies are fresh, and the baguette is crispy and just the right amount of bread. We split it since it was huge and shared an order of firecracker fries.

Best sandwiches and soup in Hemet area. This is a regular stop for me. Fresh fresh and healthy, and home-cooked at the same time. Everyone else is mentioned the bread in the reviews and they’re not exaggerating. The bread is delicious and the sandwiches rock.
