I recently ordered food from Dwarka Indian Restaurant, and it turned out to be one of my worst food-eating experiences. The paneer butter masala tasted completely off—nothing like the rich, creamy dish it’s supposed to be. The gravy felt bland, and the only four small paneer pieces seemed uncooked, rubbery, and very unpleasant to eat.

The naan wasn’t any better. It arrived doughy, undercooked, and lacking the freshness you’d expect. Overall, the meal felt carelessly prepared.

But what made the experience truly unbearable was the zero sense of hygiene. I was shocked to find a long hair inside my curry, which instantly ruined the meal. It was extremely uncomfortable and honestly disgusting.

After this experience, I would never recommend ordering anything else from this place. This was a complete disappointment from start to finish.

I tried their paneer noodles and the cashew paneer biryani as well the butter naan. The flavor is amazing and I was a bit hesitant at first because I usually have meat in my food. But I honestly found it to be very delicious and filling.

I also liked the falooda drink. They have great coffee as well.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The seating area is very comfortable compared with other dine in restaurants. Even the waiting area near the entrance has amazing couches.

Definitely worth the visit.

I had Indian food at this place, and it was a really nice experience. I tried the paneer tikka & paneer fried rice, and it was good – cooked just right. For the sweet dish, I went with a mango lassi, and it was refreshing and tasty.

The ambiance is pretty cool. The black and white monochrome effect gives it a nice, chill vibe.

It’s easy to get there too – just 80 meters from the 115 bus stop (Dominion at Grand Marais) and about 600 meters from the 305 bus stop (LaSalle at McKay).

Overall, a good spot to enjoy some good food !

New Review 2025: Today I ordered with delivery the delicious Paneer Biryani, Vegetable Curry, and Papdi Chaat. Everyone loves the food and I’ve included photos of what they brought to our house. Can’t thank them enough and the new owners for making this day memorable. All of our guests loved the food and had enough to take home.

Original Review in 2024: I had ordered catering for 20 people and the staff was very great to work with and understood what I needed. I had a puja (religious prayer) and get together at my house and they were able to deliver. The food was so delicious that all my guests were impressed. (Raita, Chana Masala, and Veg Biryani)

Review in 2023: I will for sure recommend them and will be coming back for future catering orders.

Worst restaurant in Windsor. I ordered chole bhature. Taste of chole is okayish but the bhature was not edible. Firstly they don’t know how to make bhature. Secondly it was so thicker than parathas. Thirdly because of the thickness it was extremely oily which will give you heart problems for sure. Wasted my money by ordering from this place. Please stay away from such places.

Apparently 2 months ago, the management has changed. It has become a disaster now. I ordered the South Indian Thali which just seemed like the Mess Thali. The dal was the in the most sorry state ie. How can freshly made dal be dry??

The Naan and Chapathi was not fresh as well. The Biryani and Dosa were good to an extent but thats it.

The ambience is really beautiful thanks to the old management. One good thing which these guys have is the music taste.

I tried almost all the restaurants in Windsor and by far is the worst possible. I have ordered pasta for takeout which was fine to an extent similar to Dosa and Biryani but thats it.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here

The ambience and the little robot which served the food was super cool. The food tasted great. The girl who helped us with our orders was patient enough to clear all our doubts. Only -ve was that the lime sodas on the menu were not available that time. Surely a great place for vegetarian food

I recently dined at Dwaraka Restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delightful ambiance and food.

The baby corn Manchurian was a delightful starter – crispy and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices. The gobi Manchurian was another highlight, offering a tantalizing blend of textures and tastes. As for the naan, it was the perfect accompaniment – soft, fluffy, and cooked to perfection.
I can’t wait for my next visit to Dwaraka because I’ve heard their dosa is a must-try. The variety of options on their menu promises an exciting culinary journey.

The staff at Dwaraka Restaurant were courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions.

Additionally, ample parking space was available, which is always a plus in a busy area.
Overall, Dwaraka Restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delectable vegetarian dishes, inviting ambience, friendly staff, and convenient parking. It’s a must-visit for anyone craving a flavorful vegetarian meal in a comfortable setting
