This was my first experience at a Tim Hortons and this coffee shop was very new. The staff was super nice and ordered a coffee and Hot Breakfast Sandwich. They must be very popular where have a lot of their own branded merchandise. The coffee had a great taste and the breakfast sandwich was rather large and tasty. They seem to have a lot of food items on their menu. The place had a Canadian atmosphere with hockey touches.

First Impression
Stopped by Tim Hortons to grab a cold coffee. I’ve visited this location a couple of times, and it continues to be a pleasant spot to relax.

Food & Drinks
The cold coffee is refreshing, tasty, and very reasonably priced. A great option for a quick, affordable pick-me-up.

Service & Ambience
What I really like about this place is the outdoor seating with a nice road view. The area feels calm and peaceful. The area has a calm and peaceful vibe since it’s away from busy commercial clusters. Parking is convenient, and the floating crowd is steady but not overwhelming.

Final Verdict
A cozy and budget-friendly spot to enjoy good coffee and peaceful surroundings.

I originally left a one-star review approximately one year ago after my first visit to this location. As a proud Canadian, I was genuinely excited to see Tim Hortons expand into the Austin market. Unfortunately, that initial experience was disappointing, and recent visits have only confirmed that the situation has worsened.

Timeline of Issues:

One Year Ago:
• Coffee quality was underwhelming and did not meet the standard associated with the Tim Hortons brand.
• Prices were noticeably inflated compared to expectations.
• Timbits were incorrectly fulfilled despite explicit confirmation from the manager that chocolate glazed would be included.
• While the décor carried a pleasant Canadian theme, the core product experience fell short.

At the time, I noted these concerns with the hope that the location would improve as operations matured.

Current Experience (Now):
• The situation has deteriorated significantly.
• On our most recent visit, we drove all the way from Leander specifically to purchase Timbits, only to be told that they aren’t stocking for this location me won’t sell us what they have.
• We were informed that Timbits from this location are now being sent to the H-E-B Center instead.

This raises a very simple and valid question: if this location no longer reliably carries core Tim Hortons products, what purpose does it serve for local customers?

Tim Hortons is not just another coffee chain — it is a brand built on consistency, reliability, and signature items. When a store cannot offer basic products that customers reasonably expect, it erodes trust and damages brand credibility, especially in a competitive market like Austin where alternatives are plentiful.

I am sharing this feedback not out of frustration alone, but out of genuine disappointment. Many Canadian expatriates and longtime Tim Hortons customers wanted this location to succeed. At present, it feels neglected rather than growing toward brand standards.

I respectfully request that Tim Hortons USA review the operational model, inventory decisions, and customer impact at this location. At minimum, customers should not be driving long distances only to discover that core products are unavailable or diverted elsewhere.

At this point, I’m honestly asking: why does this location even exist?

The breakfast burritos are great – fresh, ready quickly, and packed in a carton so that one can hold it while eating it (very portable!).
Iced latte was good – not too sweet (just the right amount).

We got a feta, egg, and spinach pastry, and a garlic and herb one and they were both pretty good. We also got donuts, but when we took them out of the bag, all the icing on the donut was stuck on the bag. This happened to every single donut we got. We also got an iced mocha latte which was good too. The lady at the register was nice, it took a while, but they were busy so understandable. The atmosphere is very nice though, the interior is nice and clean, and there are lots of places to sit and eat. The location is also perfect.

I had such a great experience at Tim Hortons! The Hot Cocoa Muffin was absolutely delicious, and the donut was perfect—fresh and flavorful. The Iced Mocha Latte really stood out; it’s honestly better than what I’ve had at other coffee spots. The Peppermint Hot Chocolate was amazing—so rich and tasty! The atmosphere was welcoming, with plenty of plugs available for charging devices. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by!

Tim Hortons – The Best Customer Service Ever!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff at this Tim Hortons! They are some of the kindest, sweetest people I’ve ever met. Every single one of them went above and beyond, even coming out to the front to chat with us, making us feel genuinely welcomed. I’ve never had such an incredible experience at a coffee shop before!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the positivity from the staff made my visit unforgettable. This location has officially become one of my favorites, and I will always come back. To management—please take care of this amazing team because they are truly special!

If you’re looking for great coffee, delicious food, and a place that will brighten your day, I highly recommend stopping by. You won’t be disappointed!

I went around 7 Sunday morning and it wasn’t too busy but the espresso machine wasn’t working.

The mocha cold brew was tasty. I recommend the coconut cream filled donut. The croissant sandwich was alright.

Friendly service!

If you go early and it’s close by, it’s worth a visit. The donuts were better than Dunkin but not necessarily better than the local spots by me.

The food seems to be good. However this is nlmy 2nd time try Tim Hortons over the past 6 months because the last time I went. They threw my food in the bag, no sleeve for my hash browns. Forgot my breakfast sandwich. * I did call and complain to management and she was nice enough to make it right given I live 1 town away.

This time visiting again from Pflugerville. This time my 2 croissants were put at the bottom of an overstuffed bag. My entire order was managed to be squished into 1 bag. Who does that!!!????
Asked for cream and sugar for my coffees on the side….got zero cream and zero sugar. I’m not sure what management is doing but the service is bad. Oh and no receipt.

The first one in the Austin area, it’s up in Round Rock. On 620
It’s the namesake of an excellent defensive hockey player who died tragically early. His partners continued on, and it became the biggest fast food restaurant in Canada. It is basically donuts a few sandwiches and coffee. But my wife liked the Oreo Cappuccino, better than anything at Starbucks. And the donuts to me were, although there’s not a lot of variety, they’re better than Duncan. For sure we enjoyed it. I gave it a four on atmosphere just because it’s kind of small and there for a little loud, if you want quite to work. One other thing that was excellent was that the dozen of donuts was only like $13. That’s a really great price, especially for the quality..
