Big portions. 2 people ate full meals for $40. The chicken is great, but the beef tips are fatty.
Strange setup, where you pay at a counter up front when you order, then you sit down. It makes tipping confusing.
Also, the location is complicated if you’ve never been there – it’s in the back of the huge strip mall, not visible from Rte 3.

Went to the Arnold location and realized they had another location and had to try it. Just as amazing. I got the same food here I did at the Arnold was and it was very good! The atmosphere is pretty mild and quiet. During dinner times it’s a bit more loud with more crowd, which is understandable. Service is very good and attentive, and the staff is just trying to make sure everything is correct! Will be going back.

If I give 4 stars it’s still absolutely wonderful. I have to save 5 stars for the places that you want to give 6+ to, but can only give 5.
Tequila is a great place to dine. They are super friendly, extremely fast and have very yummy food!! You do order your food at the counter and pay for it when you order, which is unique to what is customary for restaurants here in the US, but I have to admit, I like it! They get your food going right off the bat and when you are all done, no waiting to get your check and pay. You just leave! They do check on you while you’re eating and they take away your dishes if need be and they bring you chips and salsa so it’s not like a fast food place but more like an efficient dining experience!

I visited Tequila Mexican Restaurant for the very first time this evening and was abundantly pleased..
I didn’t know what to expect, really, but shared photos convinced me to give them a shot..
I would describe this restaurant as a “hybrid” sit down place.. What do I mean?? So, you enter and order at the counter, and then your food is delivered to your table..
I ordered two, a la carte al pastor street tacos and a margarita.. The street tacos were divine, and despite my late visit, the ingredients (pork, onions, cilantro, and tortillas) were pleasantly fresh and packed with flavor..
The accompanying chips and salsa were a nice touch, and the margarita was quite flavorful..
Every member of the staff I interacted with was wonderfully pleasant, and the generous military discount on the food was a nice touch, too!!
I will certainly revisit this venue the very next time I visit the Columbia area.. A very clean and niche restaurant with great eats and service!!

Honestly, we’re didn’t know what to expect as this was our first visit. We were delighted with the entire experience. First of all, upon entry it was obvious that the team there works hard to maintain a clean restaurant – very nice. Also, it was well-staffed and everyone was very pleasant and outgoing. We ordered three separate dishes and the young lady working with us was very careful to be sure that our special requests were understood, communicating with the kitchen manager in real time. Our order was served quickly and was hot and delicious. Highly recommended!

Firstly we were thrown off when we walked in and you order fast food style, even though that was different and unexpected we loved it. You order, get your number, pick your table (inside or out) and wait for them to bring your food.
From there it’s like a typical casual restaurant except you get your own soda refills… Which I loved. Alcohol is served to the table.
The food was amazing and took only 5 minutes to arrive hot and fresh.
Restrooms were decorated nice and very clean.
If you like Mexican food this stop is a must. I recommend the monster burrito, it is truly enormous. Almost a foot long.

Came for lunch on a work day. Food was excellent. The service was so fast. They gave us extra chips and salsa when we were done to take home.
