Doughnuts are fabulous, cinnamon rolls a bit too sweet this coming from someone who love rich and sweet treats. Big reason for 3 star’s is while looking around I heard cashier offer each customer at check out a sample of cake next to cash register, when I git there I could see the cake plenty left but wasn’t offered a sample. There was no one behind me, so clearly there was something about me she didn’t like, she was pleasant to me, but wasn’t good enough to offer a sample. This was very off putting, enough to look elsewhere.

I wish I had a higher rating to give. I had heard so many good things. Starting at a 3 stars, it’s all entry level bakery. It’s just average, and there’s nothing exciting or notable about this bakery that would take it up to a 4 or 5 star level. The smallish donuts, fresh and tasty. The bread, good, but an automatic bread maker (or your own hands) will turn out an equal (or better) loaf. The cookies, maybe I chose poorly but they tasted off (fat gone off perhaps?)
What actually takes it down a notch are the prices. $2 for a donut, fine. But over $1 for a 2×2” inch cookie? Over $10 for a smallish loaf of sourdough? Fuggedaboutit.
First and last time there, but based on the steady flow of people willing to pay that for average baked goods, they won’t miss me. But if you’re on the fence about driving more than 10 minutes to go here? Pass.

What a delight to find this gem so close to home! So many delicious options and even some vegan offerings! I had to try the sunflower cookie, which was as delicious as it was cute and some lovely French bread! Looking forward to my next visit!

Additive free flower organic, as I understand it to be. All I know is that it’s the very best bakery I’ve had the experience in my 81 years on this planet. The people are so friendly, happy, helpful and patient. They have so many wonderful items to chose from that I had a hard time choosing items. Wonderful place to buy from.

The apple fritter was divine and the Extra Sourdough Jalapeño Cheese Bread was so soft and full of flavor. I will crave this. Made for an awesome breakfast!
The staff was so friendly and took the time to answer all my questions while continuing to work. Just a hop, skip, and a jump off I-5 and worth the detour!

We stopped by the bakery while passing through town, hoping to grab some donuts. Unfortunately, there were only a couple left and the display case was mostly empty. We decided to try the fudge instead. It was a bit pricey, and the flavor was just average.

We came in for some donuts on a Monday around noon and they were pretty well stocked. Donuts are $2 each and a little on the smaller side but fresh and soft! They had lots of other baked goods that all looked delicious, including cakes in their fridge, freshly baked bread, rolls, hot buttered rum mix, cookies, etc. some of the items were on the pricier side, for a smaller loaf of flavored sourdough it was over $10 or I would have loved to try it. This is a fun bakery to visit that has an old school bakery vibe with old fashioned baker’s hats and aprons.

Super cute and old school local bakery in the center of La Center. The smell inside was amazing and they have a large selection of baking goodies. From what I hear there fritters are outstanding but they run out quick early in the yeah day they are open, it’s their most popular baked good. They have donuts, fritters, muffins, cakes, pies, loaf of bread of different flavors, scons, cookies, fudge, shortbread, and many other things. Highly recommend stopping by and checkout if your in the area!

Wow! This a morning destination stop. Don’t hesitate to drive or ride your motorcycle in for a delicious treat.
Known for their breads and cinnamon rolls, you MUST come on Friday or Saturday to indulge in chocolate covered cherry fritters or maple frosted apple fritters! What a treat!
The glazed Donuts are on par and there are lots and lots of breads and rolls to buy too! My eyes wanted to buy more, but my pancreas stopped me.
Stop by the Chevron down the street for Darigold “Old Fashioned Chocolate” Milk for the perfect pairing.

Everything that’s not the donuts is a bit pricey for what they are, but I do have to say, the donuts they make are some of THE BEST I’ve ever had since moving to the Pacific Northwest. Forget Voodoo, forget Sesame, spend your money here.
I can say with confidence this place is the main reason people should visit La Center.
