The café looked lovely from the outside with a very long queue for brunch on a Saturday. The menu looked good but the portions are small. Our orders came without grits nor strawberries nor maple syrup. We had to call the waitress several times. She eventually came but half listen from a distance which made her miss the complete sentence. The surcharge of strawberry (singular) was 2 USD for a single strawberry. The fried oysters were hard and salty. The fried green tomatoes were hard. After 3 days in New Orleans I can say I’ve had so much better. The veg omelette was mostly spinach and Oh so small. The coffee supposedly better than from the outside was subpar. The toilets were dirty but also the way to the them, with dirty tissue on the floor. I know it was the end of the service. Overall it was bad service, bad attitude and bad food. The table next to us didn’t fare better. Their food arrived but no one bothered to bring their cutlery. They had to go and help themselves. Upon paying, we heard the client giving feedback. They waited 1h outside for their table (we waited 45min) and then a further hour in the back of the restaurant without service. I could see her omelette was as meager as ours.

We were headed to get coffee and saw this on the way and decided to stop and eat breakfast. So glad we did! Our server was great and the food was really good for the price point. There was seating upstairs on the gallery, but we decided to sit downstairs by one of the open doors near the sidewalk because we like to people watch and the view was great (seen here behind my daughter). We do plan to eat here one more time before our trip is over- the cheddar grits are what’s bringing us back!

Went for brunch and everything was amazing with a balcony view! We had the crawfish bread as an appetizer, all of it was great plenty of sauce and crawfish. For the entrees we got the Seafood Eggs benedict with cheesy hash browns and the second entree was Shrimp & Grits. Both were delicious! We did go to the other restaurant down the street but this was the better one for anyone deciding between the two.

Like most places in Nola, this Cafe was very quaint. I love the second level patio seating. Just looking over the rails, admiring the views of local shops and restaurants. The food here based off my crab omelet and my husband’s pancakes is very good and flavorful!! The grits we had were the perfect consistency! Both days we went the staff was friendly and upbeat. I will definitely visit here again!

Casual restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. I tried the shrimp and grits with home fries. The portion size was very filling.

The price is affordable, especially for the area, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place to go whether you’re dining solo or with a small group. I’d also recommend it as a good stop before hitting the streets for the day and exploring the French Quarter.

The balcony is a cute place to sit and people watch when the weather is nice. Upstairs is much less noisy than downstairs.

The restaurant had acceptable food, nothing particularly stand out. The crawfish bread was overly fishy and dry. The food is more pricy than it should be given you’re only paying for an entree with no side, because they charge extra for any side and for cheese on the burger.

The service was very sub par. We never got even one refill of tea or water and were all thirsty trying to finish our meal, our ticket was incorrect and we had to wait a long time and get someone else’s attention to get it fixed. Our server was at the bar chatting it up, but not checking on us. They don’t give you beverage napkins for your cups so the table gets covered in water from the cup condensation.

Absolutely loved my breakfast at Café Fleur de Lis! The atmosphere is charming and very New Orleans: cozy, elegant, and relaxing. I ordered the avocado omelet and a cappuccino with almond milk, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
The coffee was smooth and delicious, and the food quality really stood out. Service was friendly and efficient, and the space feels perfect for a calm morning or brunch break.
It’s a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it for the quality, ambiance, and experience. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the French Quarter! ☕ ✨

Incredible brunch find steps away from the chaos. The hostess was extremely friendly & we loved her Xmas braids. Our server Equinox was very attentive & had a great energy that made our morning. Sit on the veranda upstairs if you can. Must eats were the crawfish toast, fried green tomatoes, seafood Benedict & crabs omelette smothered in creamed spinach.
