Service and atmosphere was great! The food was very subpar, if you want a good Philly drive to Wario’s beef and pork in Columbus. Even Charley’s has a better Philly than this place. Mr spots Phillies have no flavor, and were very under seasoned. It also wasn’t very cheesy, especially considering it’s a “cheese”steak

It’s expensive. We got a pepper steak sandwich and a steak hoagie, and they both were under-seasoned. We had to add seasoning to make it taste good. The dill pickle and fries were the best.

I enjoyed the mild boneless wings & waffle fries! Reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. My partner loved the IPA options. Service was kind and quick. The atmosphere was chill and very clean. We’ll be back!

Closest to Philly cheesesteak in OH! Soft chewy roll was amazing. Chili cheese fries were delicious and had plenty to share. Will try the firesteak next time.

Was told about this place from a close friend that used to go to school here. The original Philly cheesesteak was pretty good. Not an original Philly cheesesteak with cheese whiz, but those are rare to get outside of Philly anyway. Still really good. The service there was even better.

I used to LOVE this place, but the last few visits have been hit and miss. I have had maybe 30 plus Philly Steaks from Mr Spots in 10 or so years…
Lately however the cheese seems to be lacking? I just had my wife pick up 2 for me and they were absolutely void of cheese…and I do mean Void!
It actually disappoints me to tell you the truth.
I live 20 minutes away, and cant just stop by to fix it, so of course i ate em and chalked it up as one step closer to never ordering from here again.
Time will tell, but what would have easily been a 5 stars is now a shaky 2 because of ” quality issues ” for me.
Maybe one day I’ll try em again.

A friend of mine invited me out to his favorite place for sandwiches, and I was happy to take the drive to Bowling Green for some great, casual food. I will definitely be back to BG, but not for Mr. Spots. I got the “Spot’s Special.” It took me no time to decide … when in Rome – get the special. I even got one to go for my dad. If something is great it needs to be shared. I was mistaken. It was a bland, flavorless, boring, overpriced, dud sandwich. I would have preferred anything, I mean anything, from Subway. It was that huge of a flop. I’m sure there will an invite in the future to go again, and I’ll probably accept once more. The next time to try the Cheese Steak. But if the cold hoagie is any indication; it’s not looking good. For better or worse, I will update this review after I try the Cheese Steak. I gave it one star for the waffle fries. As it now stands – avoid Mr. Spots.

Have been coming here since I was a kid. Mr. Spots never disappoints. Double Firesteak w/ provolone combo. It never gets old. The service is always friendly and the food is always good. I would recommend this place to anyone. By far one of the best places to eat in BG.
