Had Chef Ricardo, he is the best at what he does. Very entertaining and kind and fun to watch. Our waitress was Jackie and she was very attentive and prompt and did service with a smile to a T. Love this place. P.S if you need dig a lot of yum yum sauce, Ricardo is your guy..

Extremely good and kind service from Dian. Our group was extremely big but they let us split the check so many ways. They were all so understanding and the show was amazing (thank you Sammy!). We did have to wait more than an hour for our food and to start but I would 100% go again, it was such an amazing dining experience!

I want to start out by saying the chef was wonderful and food was good. I am very disappointed though in the 6 additional service fees that were added to our bill. It was an additional $30 just in fees when us two only split one meal. I think it’s very wrong to not inform customers before about this and then it’s a surprise for you at the end. It makes me not want to come back and to warn others about this restaurant.

Honestly I don’t see the hype, what are you paying extra for? The “show”? Anyone can tap on a grill while making food. Granted they did say they’re short a few chefs but maybe limit your customers instead of making us wait 3 times as long and overwork your chefs, their exhaustion was very apparent. With that said our chef did an amazing job despite the circumstances and deserves a better work environment.

The food is covered in oil which is basically there trademark, so it doesn’t matter what you get it all tastes like the cheap version of whatever you order. Then there’s the cleanliness issue, had to ask for multiple new wine and other drink glasses and was given the excuse “our water softener is on the fritz” but yet when I mentioned it to management my glasses arrived to the table as they should, imagine that.

Service was okay, clearly also understaffed and overworked so you cannot blame them for being a bit slow.

Management took 15% of the bill but even still the price didn’t seem to fit the end results. If it was half what it costs I’d say well worth it but overall I’d say it’s not worth the prices they set and that goes double since they’re so understaffed.

I had a fantastic experience at Benihana from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff made us feel comfortable right away. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, but what really made the visit memorable was our chef, Lamar.

Lamar was an amazing chef—highly skilled, entertaining, and incredibly personable. He kept the whole table engaged with his cooking techniques and great sense of humor while making sure everyone’s meal was exactly how they wanted it. You can tell he truly takes pride in his work, and it made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and Lamar’s performance took it to the next level. I would definitely recommend Benihana and would love to be seated with Lamar again on my next visit.
