Completely charming place. Absolutely no friction with my speaking no French. They treated me the same as anyone, despite this clearly being a little slice of Parisian fine dining at affordable costs they’ve tried to keep free of the artless tourist crowd.

Very high quality cuisine, the best restaurant in the neighborhood and beyond, a passionate chef who took over the place 4 years ago, we were not expecting such an amazing food experience. Excellent dinner accompanied by the beautiful sounds of Nina Simone. Can only recommend.

We had an amazing experience having dinner at the Pres en Bulles. The food served there is really refined, fresh and exceptionally cooked. Hocine, the owner and chef warmly welcomed us and his passion for the cuisine could be felt in each of his dishes all made by himself. Everything from the starter to the dessert was delicious. We had the best Mille feuilles ever. We will visit again next time we are in town.

Menu changes almost every night and is only written on a chalk board in French (mostly a knock on us for not being able to read French). Owner?/Cook was attentive but focused on having a good time with the ‘regular crowd’ that was present.
I had the beef tartare and it was ok though not brilliant. Looks like half a kilo of raw beef mixed with mustard and put in a pastry dish to form a circle ‘cake’. My wife had the ceviche and was very underwhelmed by it. Was only able to eat about half of it because of the bread we were also served.
Not a very good wine selection and accepts cards but will huff and puff about you paying with it. Cash is king here.
