We have not been to a Cracker Barrel in sometime. We decided to stop in and get some of our favorites. The atmosphere was a typical Cracker Barrel interior with a wonderful fire going in the fireplace. We got seated immediately, and the place was relatively busy.
We did sit for approximately 15 to 20 minutes before anybody came to our table for waters and or food orders. We were about to step away from the table and walk out when a waiter came to us asking if we had been helped. We advised that we had not, and he immediately helped us with drinks and food. He definitely saved our meal and opinion of this place.
The food was amazing. We haven’t had Cracker Barrel, like I said in some time, and we received some food that was deliciously prepared and exactly what we wished for. The chicken and dumplings were delicious with the dumplings, not being overcooked or slimy. The plate was more than enough to fill your stomach. I got the country fried and it was delicious. The sawmill gravy on top was plentiful and a perfect consistency. The waiter even brought over an extra bowl of sawmill gravy for the biscuits we had ordered. The side dishes that we ordered being macaroni and cheese, hash brown casserole, greens, sweet baby carrots were all delicious. I will see if you’ve never had the greens, you should. It has a little bit of meat in it, which adds to the flavor.
This reminded us of why we enjoy Cracker Barrel so much. Again, my shout out to the waiter who saved the day for us. I wish I could remember his name.

We ordered curbside, it took a while to get our food brought out to us. The food was GREAT! I ordered the grilled chicken with corn & mash potatoes & gravy (real potatoes). The buttermilk biscuits always hit. Inexpensive and fresh.

This is my favorite Cracker barrel! I just had the best Maple bacon grilled chicken with whole cernal corn and steamed broccoli. Corn bread with strawberry syrup because they were out of the strawberry jam and it was so good. My daughter had the chicken strips with fries and Mac and cheese. Her meal looked really good too me. She had a biscuit and corn bread. My husband had the rainbow trout with the corn and mashed potatoes with biscuits and corn bread. Our server was Maurice. He did a really good job. Thank you so much Maurice and cracker barrel for our really good experience today. This was our 5th time eating at Cracker barrel this week. Unfortunately for us my husband took us with him while he was working in Virginia Beach this week. The 2 different cracker barrels in Virginia Beach and the one in Virginia didn’t put the maple sauce on my chicken. The 2 in Virginia Beach put ranch and no maple sauce and the one in west Virginia didn’t put ranch or maple sauce. They were good but not as good as the maple grilled chicken here with the sauce on it.

We were seated immediately, waitress took our order but it took an hour to get our food that was a part of our meal like pancakes before bacon & eggs, toast before main dish which then became coid. My bacon was burned. Other than that food was good.

We came in to eat with 4 of us and only waited 10 minutes, once sat we were greeted by our server Hester. She is one of the best servers we’ve ever had. She checked in us multiple times and made sure our drinks were full. She recommended the biscuits with honey and it didnt disappoint. I will be back just because of her hospitality!!

Waited for ten minutes to place a carry out. The cashier at the front was super nice, your hostess however is not. She walked past me several times, never acknowledged or asked if I needed anything, was told by the cashier twice she had a carry out order to be placed. Instead, she just kept peering out from where the cooks are to see if I had left yet. 3 pm, Weds. 2/4/26, not a busy time. She had no problem with people the same skin tone as herself.

Conveniently located by the freeway near I75, Cracker Barrel is easy to find and has lots of free parking. When you walk in you’re greeted by a huge selection of clothing, nicknacks and candy just waiting for you to buy. Past that, you’re greeted by a hostess who will seat you. The menu had lots of selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The server was friendly and accommodating with answers to my questions. The food took a while but was tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a good meal and a pleasant experience.

It took about 10 minutes from the time we were seated until anyone came to our table to take our order. We were brought our drinks. We waited another 45 minutes to an hour still no food. People that came in after us were served their food. We were still waiting but no food arrived. We spoke to the manager and left this restaurant still hungry. We had to find a different place to eat . We will never return to this restaurant. We do not recommend this place to anyone.

Always love getting the fried catfish w hushpuppies, I ask for extra instead of the corn muffin or biscuit. Husband had the chicken fried steak. Everything came out quickly & the food was HO, just like it’s supposed to b. Our waitress was attentive & kept my husband’s sweet tea filled.
