Had to revisit to try the fish.
I ordered wonton soup, hot tea and tomato catfish!
My host was attentive and quick.
The soup was delicious and had a tasty broth, vegetables and a good amount of wonton! Not just dough, thick and meaty wonton!

All in all, I was able to relax on the mellow atmosphere and enjoy a super delicious meal. Im grateful.

Absolutely the best Asian food in all of Des Moines. Not only is the restaurant super clean, but the staff is excellent. The owners are always there putting in hard work and you can tell they just genuinely love to feed people. The portions are great. The wait time is generally a bit longer but that’s because everything is prepared fresh to order. Nothing is made a head of time. I eat here as often as I can and I drive all the way from West Des Moines to do it. I really like the Phò, the Egg rolls and crab Rangoon are phenomenal! I sometimes order the Empress Chicken which is always great! Everything they make is terrific! The outside and location can fool you. It’s nothing flashy on the outside and is not in the best area, but once you’re inside, you forget about any of that. I’d give them more stars if I could! -Aaron

Went for dinner with friends on a weeknight. It wasn’t busy. We sat ourselves. The staff are friendly and helpful. I ordered hot and sour soup, crab rangoon, mongolian beef, and potstickers. The soup was nice, but the portion was too large. The mongolian beef was a little too sweet and not savory enough. The portion of meat was also smaller than expected, and a lot of onions. The crab rangoon never came. The potstickers were nice. They were well-prepared, but the filling flavor was not to my liking. May return to try other menu items.

Wife and I went to this Asian restaurant for dinner one evening after reading some reviews from Yelp and the likes. My wife chose the Chicken Broccoli (Over $10) and we had the Chicken Spring Rolls for Appetizer ($3.95). I had the Combo Pad Thai which included shrimp, beef and chicken ($10.95). I must say that everything was very good and we even asked for them to prepare the meals without MSG. Also, this is one of the first times I have ever eaten Pad Thai and not had to use the chili sauce. In my opinion (IMO) that says much about quality and food taste. Highly recommend to give a try if you want quality, fresh Asian food. Thank for reading.

Customer service was good. Food was great, we ordered the Pho, egg drop soup, Lo mein and combo sweet sour. Our kids loved the food considering that our kids are very picky with food. Best to visit mid afternoon, the place is quiet around that time and gets busy around supper. Would love to visit again.
