This was the first Wonder I’ve ever tried and I really like the location, part of an apartment complex in a shopping plaza with Lidl, Starbucks and a Jersey Mikes. There is ample parking and pretty quiet on most days. The concept of multiple restaurants under one roof is interesting but the execution here is very inconsistent, especially compared to other Wonder locations I’ve been to. The food is not always hot when it comes out on the self and that’s with me eating it in-store as soon as I get it. Many times, it’s lukewarm warm at best. The preparation times are also a point of frustration. It can be sometimes quick and other times plainly slow. I’ve wait close to 30 mins for my order at the store one time when the app estimated it would be ready in 8-10 minutes. The space is always clean and there has always been tables available when I stopped in. They have huge windows which are nice but on sunny days, it’s’ really hard to dine there as there are no blinds and you are being cooked in just about every seat. Please add some shades! There is a public bathroom that is clean and is great to sanitizer yourself before you eat. They also have tap water available.

So finally tried Wonder. The new express concept where you can order from several famous chef’s restaurants all under 1 roof.

Sort of new concept. I think of it like a high end food court . When you and your family can’t decide, order from wonder.

They mostly serve take out but there are a few tables for dine in.

Burger Baby
Truffle Fries and Bacon Cheese Burger, both were delicious

The Mainstay by Marc Murphy
Shishito Pepper needed some sea salt
Pork Chops were superb, thick but still tender, was able to cut it with plastic knife

Hanu Pokémon
Custom poke bowl, it was good. The Ginger dressing was separate but really good!

Now we’re curious about other items.

The concept of able to have multiple restaurants’ food in one place is good but the execution seems to fail short. After trying several items, it is a hit and miss. The Di Fara pizza was missing the basil and it tasted nothing like the original. Items are usually sold out so very early. I would recommend ordering from SriPraPhai or Street Bird.

How did they miss my protein (beef)? Unbelievable that they forgot to add the most important part of my salad. I waited 45 minutes and ended up receiving just a blend of vegetables and rice. I ended up throwing away the entire bowl. I will never order from this store again. No actual resolution was provided when I complained. It is clearly your mistake and the manager should have done something better instead of saying “contact Uber eats” (Ended up getting a refund of $3 for this entire $20 bowl that I threw away.)

Say goodbye to the days that you and your family need to decide collectively which restaurant to order from. Want Italian want Chinese, Thai, Mediterranean, American. No problem. Get them all in one shot! I was very skeptical and so far I really have only ordered from the pizza place but what the heck it was great!? Excited to try to other options! The setup is a little strange it’s really geared for take out and not to eat there and they very much want app ordering take out but there are helpful staff Incase you are in a bind to order from instead.

Positive experience in every way.

This location is fairly new, everything is clean and staff are welcoming. Wonder’s business concept is known for incorporating multiple restaurants under one roof- a one stop restaurant to satisfy even the pickiest eaters.

The pizzas are delicious and toddler approved, our son devoured half of his 12″ cheese pie alone and he is only 2 years old.

We ordered through their app and picking up was seamless. Food was ready within the estimated wait timeframe

We will definitely return to try out other food opts!

After seeing all the ads we decided to give this new place a try. It’s conveniently located right by the Starbucks and Jersey Mike’s, across from the Hackensack bus terminal.

We placed an order two hours before for it to be ready by the 12:30 to 1 pm time slot. When we arrived, a bunch of people were waiting for their food. We noticed there were a few tables but this place seemed designed for take out. There are two kiosks for ordering but we placed our order on the app. Since they just opened it seemed they were still learning. A customer came and said their order was completely wrong so the employees had to fix it. Our food came out and the employee asked us to check if our order was correct. Aside from sitting down and opening up every container, it’s kind of hard to check if they got our order correct. I think the employees or a manager should be checking and double checking what gets put in each bag. We just said “yes” and hoped for the best. We quickly went home to enjoy our food.

We ordered a bunch of different things from different places, like the mushroom truffle pizza, shrimp lo mein, kimchi cheesesteak and the sweet potato feta cheese salad. I liked the sweet potato feta salad and mushroom pizza. The kimchi cheesesteak bread got really soggy and it was salty. The shrimp lo mein had a lot of potential because the shrimp were huge. It’s just that it was so salty that we didn’t even finish it. I think this is a great place if you have a bunch of people who like all different types of food and you don’t want to settle for one type of cuisine. It’s a virtual food hall.

WOW! This place was mind blowing. It was very interesting for my friend and I to order our food – on the tablets from various cuisines at once. We had a mix of burgers, cheesy bread, and mozzarella sticks all from different food vendors. There was also what seemed like Indian and middle eastern food as well – will have to try next time.
Our meals were very affordable but mostly delicious. We ate there since there are plenty of seats.

Someone described Wonder Food Kitchen as a “food court,” and that’s the best way to explain it. It’s one location serving food from different brands that’s made somewhere else and reheated.

The food was disappointing. The General Tso’s chicken was very sweet and didn’t have the savory flavor you expect. It was also soggy and forgettable. The pancakes were oily and had a strange taste—almost like a cheeseburger—which made them hard to eat.

The rice was the best part. It was actually very good.

Dessert was also a letdown. The Magnolia Bakery banana pudding was partially frozen and had freezer burn. The banana flavor tasted fake compared to the original version. This could be because it’s a banana puree instead of fresh bananas.

I really wanted to love Wonder in Hackensack, but I’m just extremely disappointed. I’ve ordered from here easily 6 times, and every single time they’re “out of stock” on something I ordered. It never fails. It’s frustrating to look forward to something and then consistently get notified that it isn’t available.Today was the first time I tried delivery, mind you, I live literally two buildings away, and they still managed to deliver it to the wrong building. For a place that seems to pride itself on convenience and efficiency, it just hasn’t worked out that way for me. Upon reordering my meal to be delivered to the correct building, I was notified that they are now out of stock of the tofu. lol Can’t make it up.
