I ordered a cachapa with shredded chicken and a avacado, they gave me cold shredded chicken mixed in mayo and mashed up avacado on a burnt cachapa. I tried my best to like it because I spent $16 but this was absolutely disgusting. Just look at the presentation you could tell no care was put into it.

I understand that orders cannot be placed over the phone; however, I believe the customer service staff should be properly trained on how to communicate with customers. This morning, when I simply asked a question, one of the cooks addressed me in a vulgar and disrespectful manner. I found this behavior completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope this matter can be addressed, as respectful communication is essential when dealing with customers, Also that thing is weird because all the time when i go the owner is super profesional!

All I have to say is WOW. I tried the place a while back and I wasn’t impressed. I gave them another shot and I’m so glad I did. Staff is great and the atmosphere inside is awesome. All the food is great and is so good. My favorite from Arepa Mania is definitely the chicken cachapa with their homemade sauce. Try them you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped by in my lunch break and all i have to say is the best Venezuelan food and service in the area. Maria explained the menu really well and provided an excellent customer service. I wish all restaurants were staff staffed with people like Maria and their food taste as good

It was a decent restaurant, good service and food. I had the recommended arepa with order of French fries and venezuelan flan. The arepa was very hearty and thick, definitely filling with a lot of cheese and beans. Overall, would definitely go there again to try something else since it was first foray into venezuelan food

Had an amazing Cachapa con Queso de mano, with a Papelón con limón for breakfast. Very fresh and the taste was spot-on. Completely authentic Venezuelan food.

This place is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like family – and that’s thanks to Ximena and her amazing team.
The arepas are nothing short of perfection and the tequeños are unreal: golden, cheesy, and everything you’d hope for in the perfect bite. I have also tried the empanadas and they are flaky, flavorful, and generously stuffed – are hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had.
Ximena clearly puts her heart into everything she does and it shows – not just in the food, but in the service, the atmosphere, and the pride the entire staff takes in sharing their Venezuelan culture to all of us.

My friend moved near this location and told me about it and I had to try since I’m Venezuelian. I miss my moms cooking since she moved to Miami but I had the Arepa con carne and it was delicious !! Very authentic and I’ve been to a few spots I. Manhattan that has disappointed me. Very homie vibes like if I was eating dinner with my family. I will come back for more when I visit westchester.
