The food here is great, and the drinks are tasty, but this place was dead each night I went to it. It’s the “Rock Bar” but it’s most commonly just loud club music on full blast. They could at least play a mix of rock music or something to be true to their theme. I’m not sure who makes the decisions regarding the music selection here, but perhaps they should re-evaluate.

A classic!
2 for 1 big drinks! I got the strawberry Daiquiri and Miami Vice.
Also, had to grab the bang bang shrimp as always! Perfectly fried and the sauce has a nice kick!
When’s the last time you went to Rock Bar?

We had a truly disappointing experience at this place that others should definitely know about. We ordered five virgin mojitos for our family, and not only were they super overpriced at $130 total, but they also just didn’t taste good at all—we barely finished a sixth of each drink. Plus, there was an automatic 18% service charge that wasn’t clear, and to make things even more uncomfortable, they held onto my debit card the entire time as a “policy” to keep the tab open, which felt really odd.
After this experience, I actually went and read other reviews and realized that many people had similar complaints. I definitely regret not checking them beforehand. Hopefully, this review helps others avoid the same disappointment we went through.

Omg the Salmon is excellent! Loved my bang bang shrimp. Abel was my server, he was excellent!!! I consider myself to be a good tipper. I never tip anyone 18%. My tip was going to be $25 for my meal that came to $197. I do NOT like that they automatically add 18% gratuity to my bill. Restaurants should not be allowed to decide what I’m to tip a server. I don’t like that. I don’t like that at all and they should not be allowed to do that.

My wife and I ate here on one of our first trips to Florida. 20 years later, we brought the entire family on our 20th wedding Anniversary trip. It’s still terrific.

I was surprised by the price of piña colada and shrimp at The Rock Bar – it was $109.48! It’s like they’re taking advantage of people who eat there. Also, no WiFi? Lesson learned! When I went to the washroom, I told the lady, ‘I’ll be right back, can you please watch my piña colada and everything on the table?’ But when I returned, they had already cleared the table! SCAMMER

Do not order the fijitas. They skimp you on the protien. This place is definitely a tourist trap. My pic is after eating a couple of bites of the chicken that was actually included. Also margs are watered down. Management sucks, when I politely complained they couldn’t care less.

We had the grilled fish tacos ($22) & shrimp tacos ($22) and side orders of onion rings ($7) & sweet potato waffle fries ($7) for lunch on a weekday. We were surprised to see a 20% surcharge fee which was explained as a “tip for the staff”. (It came out to be around $10.) With tax, our total lunch was $71. I guess it was a good thing that it was already calculated into our check, even though we would have left more for our server. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the tacos. (The onion rings & sweet potato waffle fries weren’t as good.)

Been to rock bar a few times. You kind of end up there at the end of the night because they serve late night food and they have there buy one get one drinks. We sat in the outside patio and have to deal with all the drunken people passing by. I dont hate on the place it’s been very reliable in the late night try it for your self.

The drinks were overpriced for the quality, and unfortunately they didn’t taste good either. On top of that, the restaurant holds onto your credit card, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. Overall, the experience didn’t match the prices or expectations, and I wouldn’t return. They already add 18% gratuity and don’t provide a receipt to try to confuse you into double tipping.
