Such a sweet and welcoming place! The staff was incredibly kind and courteous, and the food was amazing. Everything was vegan, but honestly you’d never guess — so much variety and flavor. The loaded nachos and the fajita tacos were great!! We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. Wishing them continued success!

Just Falafel Vegan Cafe is a true gem. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s also great that they offer a full range of drinks, including tea, coffee, juice, and even alcohol. A wonderful spot whether you’re vegan or not. Highly recommend!

A hidden vegan gem off of the 610 feeder. Soups were excellent (green goddess and the lentil). The quesadillas were tasty, all good in their own way. The chocolate cake was also really good. A quiet atmosphere with welcoming decor.

I’m a little late posting this (visited back in July), so sorry, but Just Falafel Cafe definitely deserves the spotlight so here I am!
I had been wanting to visit for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The ambience is elevated and welcoming, with a modern, high-end feel — perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
What really stood out to me was the heart behind the business. The owners are vegan and have clearly poured their passion into this cafe, from the thoughtful menu to the warm, personal service. One of the owners was there during our visit — such a kind, genuine gentleman who made us feel right at home.
Now, onto the food — phenomenal.
We tried: Original Falafel Wrap, Curly Fries (easily the best fries I’ve ever had), Crispy Baked Mac n Cheese, and Mediterranean Harvest Pasta. Also tried a refreshing green mint-flavored drink — I wish I could remember the name because it was an absolute winner. Cool, vibrant, and the perfect complement to the meal.
I went there with my kids, and they loved every single bite. Whatever we couldn’t finish, they were excited to eat again later that evening — that says everything!
If you’re in Houston — whether you’re vegan or not — Just Falafel Cafe should absolutely be on your must-try list. We can’t wait to return on our next trip 🙂

Went for dinner and ordered the Beyond Meat Burger with masala fries, see photo.
Both excellent in flavor, freshness, texture, portions, and fries were not overly greasy.
While there I read about the restaurant owner’s values regarding cruelty free, which added a deeper level of satisfaction to my dinner experience.
The interior deco is contemporary and element-themed, providing a chillaxed comfortable vibe.
It also felt clean and new.
Definitely worth a revisit and Looking forward to tasting more of their attractive food and drink options.

It was quite surprising. The food (Harvest Pasta and Falafel wrap) both were delicious and beat the expectations. Place was quiet with good music playing in the background. Service (time taken for food to arrive) could improve a little.

I ordered the Mint Lemonade and honestly—it’s mind-blowing. So refreshing and perfectly balanced, a must-try drink here!
The Falafel Rice Bowl was on another level—so flavorful, fresh, and clearly made in-house with so much care. It’s one of the best falafel bowls I’ve had anywhere.
The ambiance is equally amazing—the indoor decor is superb, and the patio is perfect for private parties while enjoying views of the sky-high buildings around. Such a unique spot to relax and soak in the city vibe.
This place is a must, must, must visit if you’re in Houston! Highly recommend it for both the food and the atmosphere.

Everything here was just so amazing. The people were wonderful, the food was top notch, and the ambience and decor was gorgeous! I came here with my family and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good evening eat. They even have a Jain menu!
