It’s been a while since we visited Catrina from their previous location. This new location is great, decent restrooms and a nice sized dining area.
The food is very authentic, it’s potentially my favorite in all of Columbus. There’s usually a new special of the day almost every time I’ve been.
Worth checking out, the family who runs the place is very kind and welcoming. They also sell alcoholic drinks, try the Cantarito!

The food here is delicious and the owner is very nice! Great music too. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and they were just picturesque on top of being cooked to absolute perfection. I’ll be dreaming of the consommé for weeks!

This was my wife and I first time here, the service was fantastic! The waiter was outstanding and extremely nice and friendly. The food was amazing and so authentic!! I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s a hole in the wall type of place. The environment is definitely laid back and chill. The people that come here are definitely regulars because you can tell how they interacted with the workers here. They are open until 11:30 pm. Very quick service and just an overall great place. It’s definitely worth trying out. You won’t be disappointed.

A co-worker suggested that I check out this restaurant! He has been telling me for weeks, to stop what I am doing and go get some Awesome Authentic Mexican Food! So I took heed and decided to check them out. The service and food simply amazing. I ordered the Birria Tacos . The tacos had to be some of the best tacos I have ever had. The gentleman that took my order and made the food, was very polite and patient. He made sure that I had everything that I needed to ensure my first time visit was enjoyable. The restaurant was clean.
I truly look forward to coming back and trying more food that is on the menu. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped in here on a Monday evening. We ordered a fajita quesadilla and the chicken enchiladas. Both were very average and nothing to write home about. The price I felt was on the higher end. It was $43 and they only accept cash. I paid $60 and was shorted $10 when the man originally brought back my change. I questioned it immediately and was given the other $10 owed. I would be very careful if you go here to count your change after you pay. Overall I would not return to this place.

My husband and I dined in around 4 PM, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We waited over 15 minutes just for chips and salsa—only to be told they had run out. How does a Mexican restaurant run out of chips and salsa, especially that early in the evening?
The service was slow throughout our visit, and when the food finally arrived, it was completely lacking in flavor. We were really looking forward to a good meal, but everything tasted bland and under-seasoned.
Definitely not worth the wait or the price. We won’t be returning.

Service wasn’t super fast but super personable. The place isn’t much to look at. Weird 90’s/00’s music videos.
But the food. AMAZING. we’ve traveled to Mexico enough to know this is as real as you’d get there.
Again, the food was amazing. Can’t wait to come back.

We loved the empanadas—delicious corn shell and filling! The shrimp tostada is excellent, as were the freshly made house drinks. Worth a trip!
