Amazing!! Delicious food and super friendly people. Place seems to be filled with regulars that can’t stop raving about their favorite dishes and how often they come. Truly a special place and the food tastes like you’re in Positano!! Staff is all Italian and truly makes it feel authentic in Boca Raton. Jacques was our server and made our visit memorable. We’re looking forward to seeing what specials we’ll have next time! The Pesto Fettuccine with sun dried tomatoes and shrimp was excellent.

We went to positano for a family members birthday – it was amazing ! It feels like a true piece of Italy, we were served by Giuseppe whom gave us great options and was extremely attentive. From the appetizers to drinks, main courses, dessert and more. The staff, atmosphere and food was top tier! Will definitely be coming back.

We had the 3-course special and loved it! The seafood antipasto was amazing and going back for lunch with bread. Clam soup of the day excellent. Ossobuco served with a steak knife but fell off the bone using just a fork. The rest of the party had the veal chop, gnocchi, Cesar salad, pasta. All loved We shared ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Both perfection. Best dining experience and worth the money. Warm and welcoming atmosphere and service

Wow, I don’t even really know where to start. I went in with the most simple order for takeout. I will see this. The meatballs were decent, but the rigatoni vodka that I got basically tasted like rigatoni with an onion paste. Absolutely uneditable and honestly when I walked in there, I’m 57 years old and I felt like I walked into a time capsule. I was there easily the youngest person there by 20 years and I’m not saying this to be mean about the older people there because listen I’m getting up there and I’m a big fan of older people and the stories that they have to tell but I mean the simplest dish is a rigatoni à la vodka and this doesn’t even come close. Everybody there starting from the valet to the person working the front desk honestly acted like they didn’t even wanna be there. I’m sitting here eating the meatballs and I’m feeding my two dogs the rigatoni vodka one noodle at a time and they have literally stopped eating it. Just sad man.
And the bread. I mean every single piece of bread that I got was burnt not slightly charged but absolutely burnt and edible. I feel like most of the people that go. There are so old that they don’t have a pallet to taste food anymore so they actually think the stuff is good , but I would never recommend anybody go to this place

I haven’t been to Positano’s in many years as I don’t regularly travel to south Florida. What I do remember Positano had the most amazing gnocchi, the best I have ever had and was exactly the reason I came back for this trip. Also I remembered they also had fabulous Focaccia bread. I made my reservation online with open table.

Speaking of tables I had the only table for two and that’s fine. What wasn’t fine were the chairs. Inside the restaurant they have nice wooden chairs with good cushions. On the patio all the tables except mine had metal frame chairs with wide red cushions. My chairs were metal frame but skinny little black cushions. I literally didn’t have the same chairs as everyone else in the establishment. They were very uncomfortable. Why? Did you squeeze my reservation in and grab some extra chairs out of the back office? Why didn’t I get the wider red chairs with thick cushions? Instead I got paper thin cushions that left my butt sore and back for that matter. How about the optics of giving only my table these crappy little chairs why I stare at everyone else sitting in comfortable chairs.

Also I told the waiter how much I loved the Focaccia last time and requested extra Focaccia as I also ordered a bottle of wine. He said out loud looking me in the eyes he would bring me a basket of Focaccia bread. I never got my Focaccia, in the standard basket I got one tiny piece. I even mentioned it a 2nd time but never ever got my Focaccia. I think that is horrible customer service. I drop over $200 on dinner and I can’t even get the Focaccia I came to Positano for.

I also wanted to order Gnocchi and told the waiter my story and the last time I was at Positano. He informed me they don’t make ANY pasta in house anymore so it would be different but it was still good. I decided to get the lamb shank. It was very good.

I probably won’t come back to Positano. The service was lacking. Being stuck with crappy uncomfortable chairs irritated me. Not being brought the food I requested irritated me. And the final straw not having fresh pasta. There are better options in South Florida for the price.

Beautiful, authentic Italian restaurant tucked away off US1. Service was top notch. Not sure if family owned or not but you feel part of the family soon as you arrive. The free bread was delicious as was the soup. My entree was very good as well. An absolute must-try is the ricotta cheese cheesecake, you won’t want regular cheesecake ever again! A little pricey for everything, but an overall fantastic experience.

Didn’t start off very well. My wife who’s office is in the same building went there in person to make the reservation. When we arrived, they had no record of the reservation and we were a party of 6 . They accommodated and seated us outside. They now have a huge front patio and a smaller side patio. They pack them in like sardines.

Our waiter was always in a hurry so he stated he was busy. Luckily I brought a bottle of wine knowing they charge $ 25 corkage fee, on the high side. Glad I did because they were way overpriced on the wine list.

I ordered the LINGUINI FRUTTI DI MARE with calamari, mussels, clams, and 1 large shrimp in a marinara sauce. Comes with a choice of Caesar salad or Mixed house salad. The house salad looked like it came from bag and old. Tne FRUTTI DI MARE was just fair.

My tried the POLLO CACCIATORE, chunks of white meat with onion, mushrooms, pepper, and tomatoes, Served a choice of Caesar salad or Mixed house salad and pasta. The pasta is served with garlic & oil or tomato sauce. She thought it was just OK.

The best thing was the dessert, a pistachio tartufo.

Definitely not returning
