Was staying at a Bed and Breakfast across the street and they recommended El Leoncito!!! What a great choice the Manzanillo Pollo and Chicken Fajitas were excellent …. Chips and Salsa were tasty as well!!! The atmosphere is great… You can’t go wrong by visiting this restaurant!!!

If you ever want steak that is not well done, this is definitely not the place for you. We asked for medium, we got well and maybe a piece of a slight medium well. We asked if we can have it re done as medium and he brought another one that was super well done. We left it on the table, paid a left. The whole time the waiter didn’t apologize or show empathy. He knew very well that was not medium. My daughter said thank you when he brought her food, he was mute as if he was bothered that we asked for medium and got well and saying and us saying something about it. $25 waisted because she didn’t eat it and left it on the table for them.

“If you’re visiting the Kennedy Space Center, you have to eat here! The drinks and food are incredible, and the atmosphere is great. It’s such a cool spot with a ton of history—they even have signed photos from all the astronauts who have stopped by. Highly recommended!”

This place is phenomenal. I got a frozen strawberry margarita, the molcajete, and fried icecream. The prices were good and was able to split with leftovers this main meat dish for $35. It was flavorful and the service was great! It’s pretty busy inside too which is a good indicator. I’ve never had fried icecream before, but I definitely fell in love after having it. I would come back for sure!

We genuinely enjoy this restaurant. It’s well-suited for family dinners, group events, and/or date ❤️ nights alike. The reasonably priced food is amazing and they have fantastic cocktails (full bar) and desserts . In my experience, all the ♀️servers ♂️ have been very friendly, cheerful and competent. The chicken hard tacos and sweet plantains, in particular, are out of this world!
Also, the restaurant is situated directly across US-1 from a small oceanfront ⛵️ park that offers views of Kennedy Space Center . The only downside is that it can get terribly busy and crowded at peak times.

Nice as always! I’ve been here multiple times in the past couple of years, and decided to revisit it today. The amount of food options I saw on the counter where the bar was at (if you go to the left when walking towards the register in the restaurant) made me feel hungry on the inside… Still, the menu options are very nice, especially the burritos, tacos, complimentary chips, and bowls.

Some famous guy was here to watch a launch. Best views of Kennedy bar none! The service was warm, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions.

Having just finished a full day at the Space Center without grabbing lunch, we were starving and had a decent drive ahead of us to get back to our campground. Normally we would avoid full parking lots and anything with a band (due to crowd size), but we saw an overflow parking lot and had our heats set on Mexican cuisine, so we gave El Leoncito a try. I am SO glad we did. We were seated within 15 minutes, got happy hour cocktails while waiting, and the food was absolutely AH-mazing! Our server, Daniel, was great! Five stars all the way.
