Let me start by saying I haven’t even left the building yet. In and out within 30 minutes, food was VERY good, and we are close to popping. It was $50 with tip for 2, but it is very much worth it. Hand pattied sausage, homemade jams, large portions, great waiter/staff. Even bought a jar of the jam.

Carolyn’s Café in Hungry Horse, Montana is a small, quaint spot tucked next to a convenience store and ATV rental shop, so definitely plan to get there early since seating is limited. Thankfully, we didn’t wait long.
Breakfast was delicious—fluffy pancakes with tasty jams were the highlight, and everything felt fresh and homemade. The cinnamon bread wasn’t my personal favorite, but still enjoyable overall. We were so hungry I didn’t have time to take pictures of the food—only what was left!
What really stood out was the service: they only had one waitress handling the whole place, and she was incredible—fast, efficient, friendly, and completely professional.
This is exactly the kind of small-town café you hope to find when traveling. Cozy and welcoming, a must-try when passing through Hungry Horse!

Come to Carolyn’s hungry because the portions are so big. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and I ordered the combination. Both meals were super yummy. I couldn’t finish my meal, so my husband finished mine. Great breakfast spot!

We are visiting Glacier National Park and wanted a local breakfast place. We found Carolyn’s Cafe. I ordered huckleberry short stack….they were wonderful! The coffee is fresh & smooth. The waitress is super sweet and attentive. We liked it so much we went back the next day.

We are a bright and early breakfast type of family. We travel all over exploring our great country, and THIS is one of our top restaurants! The staff is courteous, the food was hot and very fast. We had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns, the chicken fried steak and a huckleberry pancake. All of our food was incredible!
When we come to Glacier again we will definitely be stopping here. We loved it!

On the smaller side 8 tables inside. Services was friendly and quick. Didn’t take long to get our food. Sausage burrito with hasbrowns. Then huckleberry pancakes with eggs. Food is in the $10-20 range.

Really neat local place. Incredible food. Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. Also if you can imagine the most flavorful fluffy perfect blueberry pancakes ?? Try the huckleberry pancakes here. They are 10x better !! I liked the affordability of the place. Service excellent. One waitress for the entire place and she handled it with ease. Highly recommend !!

Had a wonderful breakfast at Carolyn’s Cafe! It’s a quaint little place with breakfast dishes being pumped out faster than the gas station pumping oil next door.
Everything everyone had was delicious, fresh, made fast with perfect delivery. The staff was super friendly and they certainly were working hard to keep everything going smoothly and keeping customers happy.
A bonus sixth star for our server recognizing our wobbly table and fixing it instantly! This visit makes it super easy to recommend Carolyn’s to any local or traveler like ourselves. And although we didn’t have any of the treats, they were being freshly baked and placed out on the counter nearby and they smelled and looked incredible. Enjoy!

This is the perfect example of don’t judge a book by it’s cover. This place may share spots with a gas station, and it may not be as fancy as other places, but the food here beats the competition.
All the items here are served fresh and homemade, and taste like how you’d think breakfast should. They have wide selections and all of them are at good prices.
Overall, this is a great place for anyone, whether you live here, or you are just visiting.
