I’ve been ordering from Big Shot Bob’s in Avalon for over ten years. They’re the best in the Burgh. They opened on New Year’s Day to provide fresh delicious wings. Pre-ordering wings for New Year’s Day was a breeze and the service is very friendly. I was able to call and make a change to a pick up order with ease.
My all time favorite all Old Bay Wet. What’s pictured, Black and Gold, Garlic Ranch Wet and Big Shot Bob’s Signature.
I am vegetarian but I still order these wings for family get together.

Best wings in Pittsburgh – crispy, extra-saucy – the variety is incredible. And major kudos to the employee who let me know at checkout that my order matched up with a coupon that I hadn’t presented…great service! Our out-of-town family and friends always demand BSBs when they visit!

While their flavors are always good and unique they do not understand the simple idea of not overfrying wings. I specifically requested in bold lettering “do not fry my wings hard as I have sensitive teeth ” of course when I get home I have 2 full order of chicken wing Jerry. Takes you a minute to chew one almost like wood. I have been ordering from this location for years and I’m not sure when they started frying their wings like this but it’s a rip off for the price you have to pay. If you happen to not eat all of the wings at once and have reheat them later GOOD LUCK! They are literally unbitebale after being reheated.

Best wings I have ever had. Awesome people working there as well. Love this place, I try to control the urge to order wings several times a week here. So many great options to pick from, always fresh, always hot. For fun I started writing grades on the different wings I get, I usually get something I have had before and liked, and then a small order of something random. Love getting anything wet/saucy and then using that as a dipping sauce for other wings.
No point in me bothering to cook wings when I can just bow to the master. If you smellllllllllllll, what BigShot Bobs, is cookinggggggggg. (smells good).

This use to be a recommendation I put on my family’s lives. Slow delivery, virtually no sauce, and undercooked wings have left me feeling betrayed. Utterly disappointed. Used to be the gold standard, now a waste of time and money. The sauces are still fantastic, just wish you got a little on the wings like in the past.

This used to be our spot! But the last 2-3 times have been awful. Boneless are always waayy over cooked and bone-in taste like old meat. The owner is really nice, but unfortunately when the food sucks we have to move on and find a new wing spot.

OMG! Why did I pay $30 for 22 wings! I was so mad! The wings we so dry i mean DRY! The seasoning on my 6 were so salty, my husband got 13 and his seasoning was super dry and unflavored! Never again. I apologize, what I meant to say is that the wings were over cooked and this made them dry..

Best wings in the Burgh, no doubt. Tons of flavors to choose from and they offer bone-in or boneless. Our favorites are Foxy Brown, Taste of Beaver Falls, Game changer, and Black Magic.
