The hostess was lovely, the food was fantastic, and the decor and ambiance were top notch, but the stand out for me was the service.
We were served by Naomi, who was an absolute delight throughout our dining experience. She was warm, polite, attentive and efficient, even providing recommendations when we were struggling to choose, as there were so many tasty looking options.
Naomi is an absolute diamond and an asset to the establishment. Her genuine nature and obvious aptitude for customer service are second to none. Please make sure that she receives some recognition for her above and beyond customer service; she definitely deserves it.
I had dropped off a balloon and cake earlier in the day and the staff were happy to oblige in decorating our table and bringing out the surprise cake after the main course. Even the Chefs joined in with singing “HB” which made us all smile!
Thank you for making our family meal so enjoyable.
Let’s start , it was 12.30, there were only 5 tables.
First of all, I’d like to protect the young manager: poor guy — from the very beginning some wine was spilled on our table. He was clearly mortified, and I genuinely felt sorry for him. We changed tables without any issue.
We ordered a cheese bread as a starter. From the end of the starter to the main course, over 40 minutes passed, while tables next to us — seated after us — received their mains and even finished eating. At that point I had to raise my voice, and I apologise for that. Shortly after, the pasta finally arrived.
As an apology, they offered us a free dessert. We ordered only one tiramisù, so as not to take advantage. Another 40 minutes passed, and it never arrived. Exhausted, I asked the same person who had offered the dessert for the bill. I paid in full, and no one even noticed that we had never received the tiramisù we were meant to share.
One disaster after another. What made it worse was that a fairly large group of staff were standing to the side chatting, and no one noticed that items were missing from our table.
Anyway… I will never come back. Total frustration, my lunch was completely ruined.
As for the chef, I’d like to say this: carbonara with truffle is made with truffle, not with lots of cream. Come to Italy and taste it — please don’t invent recipes that don’t exist. The truffle flavour was completely absent.
The food portions was big . I could not eat it all .
Fast service
10/10
The service flows with quiet confidence — attentive yet intuitive, with recommendations that feel personal rather than rehearsed. There is pride here, and it shows. Each dish arrives like a small celebration: vibrant, beautifully composed, and layered with flavour. It’s not simply Italian food — it’s an experience shaped with care, detail, and heart. Zizzi doesn’t just serve meals; it creates moments worth remembering.
