I’ve gone twice and both times were very different. First time I got sushi and It was rough.. the rolls were basically falling apart when I got them and didn’t taste the best. Second time I went and got the chicken hibachi and it was pretty good and alot of food. Definitely on the more expensive side and I cant say youre gonna get your money’s worth. It’s a very meh experience overall.

Takoyaki is a fabulous little Japanese restaurant, located right beside the Interstate, in Tiger Town. They are widely known for their fantastic Hibachi, sushi rolls and many other great items. They also have the best Ginger dressing on their salad around. They have an extensive lunch and dinner menu.
It’s a great place to visit by yourself, with a group, or for your next business luncheon.
Get there early, as they do pack out. Also, if you get the dinner portion, it’s enough for 2, or leftovers.

Love this place! My favorite roll is the Shaggy Dog! It’s definitely chef’s kiss! Drinks are amazing, cook was amazing and funny, food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back.

This place has a lot of potential. If you want a healthy light meal, this is the place for you. The Pacific roll was delicious but I have some suggestions. The amount of white sauce was too much on top of the sushi, this overwhelmed the flavors making it difficult to feel the delicacy of the Salmon and Tuna otherwise it would have been perfect

Lovely dining room with a bar for sushi or drinks. We ordered Gyoza dumplings appetizer, very tasty filling and the sauce nicely salty. Our two entrees arrived 4 minutes apart so one was cooled when the second arrived. The LoMein was generous and the veggies crisp tender, the Satay had a bed of raw vegetables and a pretty good peanut sauce.
In all the food was good not excellent the service was prompt for ordering and helpful but uneven on serving.

My husband just became disabled 2 months ago. So this is so so new to us. He is in a motorized wheelchair. We were rushed between dentist and doctors appointments. We were close to here so we went in to get a quick bite. There were no tables that would accommodate him so we found one that would be out of the way and he pulled up beside it, not under because it was not high enough. The waitress came over and told us we couldn’t sit there as it was a 6 table top. Mind you, it was lunch time and they weren’t even a third full. She pointed to another table that was crowded into the other tables. I told her he couldn’t access that table. She again told us we couldn’t sit there. I politely but firmly told her we were sitting where we were. My husband was getting so embarrassed. She left and a manager came round and told us the same thing. I looked him in the eyes and said we would either eat at this table or we would leave. Even though we didn’t have time to get else where to eat as we were pushed for time. He then decided he could move the other tables and make ours a regular table. Why couldn’t they have done that to start with? Why did they have to make us feel embarrassed and mad. He has cancer and he needed to eat otherwise we would have left. We will never go back there again. They definitely aren’t ADA compliant. Their bar was not accessible because it had a footrest. If you are disabled, don’t bother going in this place.

Takoyaki Sushi Restaurant was a great experience. The place was very clean and we were seated right away with no wait at all. Our food came out fresh and fast, and everything we ordered tasted great. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, perfect for a casual night out. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a 5 star spot and we will be coming back soon.

I’ve visited this restaurant a few times, and it’s consistently excellent. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. As a seafood noodle enthusiast, I find the food to be quite satisfying. The only suggestion I have is to expand the soup options on the menu.

Absolutely loved the food taste, portion sizes, and reasonable pricing. Great variety of foods from several Asian countries. Panang Curry and House Pad Thai were to die for. Calamari was not too salty or oily and served Piping hot. My son loved his chicken teriyaki kids meal.
