We absolutely love Lu’s Teriyaki. She has the best food, never a long wait, and she always has a smile on her face. She had the best stew, my sons favorite Teriyaki chicken with watermelon lemonade. Great desserts, great tofu options, and more. You can’t go wrong, and She is open 6 days a week. Order online and pick up or eat there. We love her.

I tried this place out at the Hillsboro station food cart pod since it’s a little more rare to find Filipino food in Oregon. They serve some basic Filipino dishes as well as teriyaki. The pancit bihon was not the best I’ve ever had, but it certainly wasn’t anywhere near the worst either, it had a decent flavor and comes with a big serving and reasonable price. I’ve had the teriyaki in the past and it is okay, easy and efficient but not anything that blows your mind. The service, however, is nice and fast. The woman running the cart seems kind. The area has nice seating and is a good place to hang out.

First time trying out the food at the Piedmont food pods and noticed Lu’s Teriyaki. Ordered the chicken thigh teriyaki for $7 and it was pretty good. A generous portion of rice the salad mix had a nice sweet flavor with a subtle tang and the chicken was cooked right. Not bad, I’ll definitely come by again.

First and last time ordering from here. Ordered Beef with Yakisoba for delivery. The delivery was fine but the food was inedible. The noodles were mushy and the beef tasted rancid. Took one bite of noodles and one bite of beef and spit it out. Maybe it is because it is Sunday? $28 I will never see again.

I love Lu’s. The chicken adobo and lumpia are my favorite. When I’m sick I come get the sinigang tamarind soup. Lou is always so kind. In an age where so many restaurants are aiming for Instagram photo appeal, it’s refreshing to be able to get homestyle cooking and service with a smile.

Going to Lu’s Teriyaki puts an instant smile on my face. Lu is very friendly and warm. She has the sweetest smile. Perfect chicken teriyaki bowl. Their pancit and lumpia combination brings me back to birthday celebrations back home. The lumpia is sooo good! You would want to take more. The halo halo and specially the turon are also a must try! One of the best Filipino food options!!!
