I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in years and WILL definitely be coming back.

From the moment we walked in, until we finished our eating and shopping we were treated as valued guests and patrons. The staff is friendly and very helpful beyond what you might expect you need….they anticipated our needs in the shop based on our browsing and made great recommendations.

Also, the pork chops were scrumptious, service from Carley (sp?) came with a smile and attentiveness.

Highly recommend you go check out the Cracker Barrel in Garner on 40/42. Easy parking too!

Today’s experience was incredibly disappointing. Ordered a well-done burger and it came out incredibly raw not once, but twice. Came out for a family dinner and left needing to go somewhere else for one of my kids (their burger).

I’ve never actually been to a Cracker Barrel for dinner before. It’s always been a breakfast spot for me. And I usually never stray away from the biscuits and gravy.

I’m out of town for work and my hotel is next door to this location. Been door dashing dinner all week and it’s been pricey, so decided to just walk across the lot and try out the ole Cracker Barrel for dinner tonight.

It was about 9pm, an hour before closing. They weren’t busy at all. Got seated almost immediately, and my waitress, Courtney, was all over it. Very friendly, very attentive. Shout out to her, excellent job.

I ordered the fried chicken and French toast, and my goodness. It was so good and delectable. It all just paired so well together. The French toast. The butter. The syrup. The chicken. And the chicken was juicy too, which was what I was worried about, but it was perfect.

I assumed walking in I would likely give them a 4 star rating because that’s typically what Cracker Barrel is. It’s good. But it’s not outstanding. But my meal tonight, and the customer service, they earned the full five tonight.

We’ve been coming here for over 20 years and the service & food is always the same: consistently good. The line always moves quickly, the entrees are always served hot (and fast) and the staff are always incredibly friendly (shoutout to Sarah today). See you next time, CB!

Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at Cracker Barrel was earlier tonight! Shyla was mine and my sister’s server, and she was so sweet. She was quick with taking our orders, and everything came out fresh and correct. My sister had the country fried steak and I had the Grandma’s Sampler. The last few visits have been less than satisfactory, but Shyla made us want to keep coming back. We’ve enjoyed the food and the service that the staff presented. I recommend Cracker Barrel to anyone

Ordered dinner with 3 sides, on a Wednesday early evening approx 5pm: Food was horrible! Country fried steak to hard to chew, biscuits hard as a rock and hash brown casserole was so hard on top like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp all day that only thing I could eat was the corn and dumpling sides. Such a complete waste of money!!

During our last visit it was an okay visit, but this time we were very displeased. There were numerous servers, yet the one assigned to our table never came the entire 1 hour and 30 mins.

We were seated swiftly (less than 5 minutes). We signed in on our app. Our names were called swiftly after arrival (about 5 minutes).

2 different people came to share they were helping our assigned server. One took our drink order. The other one brought our drinks and also said she was helping our server. She then returned with our biscuits. She asked had order been taken, and she said she would put it in for the assigned server. Nearly 15 minutes went by and finally we were asked about refills on our water. I also requested lemons. A manager brought me lemon slices on a napkin and set it next to me. I was speechless. Please them on a saucer or in a cup. The napkins are thin quality and was not professional.

55 mins later, with no one checking on us, we finally received our food from a manager. Another server gave us our food. We had yet to personally, meet our assigned server.

The flavor of the small grill chicken tenders was great. It is well prepared, yet small. Of course, the hashbrown casserole and apples were delicious. My husband ordered the smokey grilled chicken breast. There was no smoke flavor, but it was eatable but lacked flavor. The fried okra and mashed potatoes was done well.

We continued to await the introduction of the waitress who was assigned to our table, but she never came. The tables in front and behind us were diligently served. It was obvious that numerous tables had been waiting, but at least they had assigned servers.

As we awaited our recieot, a manager Rodney came and said the ticket was from the person who was from our “assigned” waitress. So we kindly shared that we didn’t know who she was because she never came to our table. The table behind us and the side of us met her. He shared that staff members were checking out early and she wasn’t assigned to us. He said it was one of their tables. We expressed that’s understood how unfortunate that is, but no one took care of us. He apologized and offered to cover our meals. That was professional. We are not eager to return to this location.

We do share because we know it is not a Crackel Barrel standard. We have traveled many states, and it is our choice of dining. Therefore, our sharing is to hopefully cause this location to get better.

The food is always good so no complaints there just be sure to check your to-go/curbside orders. I did a curbside order and was missing several items…no bread not even the extra order of biscuits, missing $5 take home meal, and missing coleslaw side. This has happened more than once. Never had an issue when dining inside.

I had breakfast here on Saturday and the service was truly excellent. Our waitress was amazing — very patient, very attentive, and incredibly kind. Honestly, all servers should be like her. Even though she is young, she is a wonderful example for many older waitresses I’ve met who don’t always show the same level of patience.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience.
The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Everyone was happy. Thank you!

Can never go wrong with their pancakes and hash brown casserole; the chicken tenders were a good option for a porkless meat. However, they missed the boat on the shrimp and grits. Always bewildered why some chefs elect to drown the grits in gravy, but honey this isn’t it! Yuck! And the shrimp was barely flavored and definitely not overcooked. Garlic toast served with it. The waitress did offer to prepare it again but I declined. It’s a one and done for me on the creole favorite.
