Stopped here 3 years ago and finally got back today for Breakfast before leaving for Nephew’s Wedding

Kit enjoyed a Griddle Meal of 3 slice’s of French Toast, bacon, scrabbled eggs with a small glass of orange juice…
My choice was one of the two usual breakfast sandwiches, today’s was pork roll, egg, cheese with freshly sliced jalapenos with SPK and a splash or two if hot sauce.
The sandwich came with hash browns and a small orange juice.
Everything was delicious and made to our liking.
Our waitress, Ashley was pleasant and had a few questions regarding if we were new to the area and the grill chef was interested about the Jalapenos…
Apparently, this was the first time anyone had ordered them and the additional hot sauce…
We would recommend other to stop here for breakfast or a meal.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. When I entered, I felt like I was transported to the 80’s. The pastel colors, plants everywhere, the office tile ceiling, the mandatory mass produced paintings on the wall of ships and lanscape and lastly the mirrors on the wall. Our server Maryann was friendly, straight to the point and anticipated our needs. You can’t beat the special that ranges from $11-$16, you get soup, salad, entree, drinks and dessert. I got chicken and orzo, salad with oil and vinegar, breaded pork chops in mushroom gravy with rice and carrots, and ice chocolate cream. My husband got the bean and vegetable soup, mac and cheese with crab cakes and strawberry ice cream. Delicious! I can go into details but all I can say is that I will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

I have literally been coming to this restaurant for over 40 years. They just got a new menu today (10/12/24) & and it is not as good as it used to be. The service has gone downhill, portions are smaller, & now they charge for a take home container. We had to pay 35 cents (which isn’t a big deal) to take home dessert, but look at my picture with the size of the dessert! That’s just ridiculous. After 40 years I’m no longer a customer.

Since Jimmy and Nick sold the restaurant, the food hasn’t been the same. The service was great because we always have Maryann for our waitress all the time. The diner has been empty with no customers when we go. The new owner is creapy and doesn’t know what he is doing at the front when he collects the money. Charged me more then what the bill came to. I said, “Oh No” to him you charged me more then the bill says. Now that they let Maryann go, a great waitress, I will never return to that diner.
