Now, this time with a clear view, again, making sandwiches without gloves, two of the Latina women are conversing having a good time while one is actually eating while preparing food while other is comfortable watching, then she even goes back for another little serving. When I complained, the two women rushed toward the back and went into the large walk-in fridge. Clearly this is a regular thing because they felt so comfortable doing it.
My question:: Is it the women’s fault for having bad unsanitary habits, or Little Louie’s for not properly training, and, allowing the behavior—because they’re doing this in front of all the other workers, even the manager, and nobody is saying anything? I’m asking because as paid customers, should we not be treated better than this and allowed to be the first to taste the food on our plates? One would think!
My real complaint is how my order was taken. I told the lady I wanted a BLT and before I got to tell her no mayo she was already about to hand me the ticket. Well, I wanted more than just no mayo, I wanted to add a few other toppings such as jalapenos, light tomato and extra lettuce, but she didnt give me time to add that. I also wanted to let her know not toasted, but again, felt rushed and she didn’teven ask if I wanted to order anything else.
Didn’t wait long for my sandwich, maybe 5 mins with a few orders ahead of me.
Food was meh, bacon was soft and greasy, tomatoes were “mealy”, bread was burnt.
Had I gotten the chance to order it the way I usually order my BLT, who knows, maybe it would be a different review.
I gave it a try tho. Ill stick with Point Richmond Market for their sandwiches.
Popular among Point Richmond residents. Great coffee and deli counter specializing in well made sandwiches.
