My girlfriend and I decided to check out this new spot since they moved from their previous location. It used to be our go to restaurant. Sadly, this new spot, the food is a complete disappointment. When we came , the birria tacos were dry and lacked juiciness, despite being heavily promoted on social media and by mini food influencers. The consommé was so watery and flavorless. It’s crazy how they promote the food as well done, but in reality, it’s very different. The enchiladas I ordered were bland and lacked flavor, and the rice and beans didn’t even have the authentic Mexican taste they’re supposed to have. As you can see, their social media promotion doesn’t match the reality in person, which is a disgrace. You guys mentioned in the comment reviews that you guys are a family-owned restaurant, if that’s the case, pónganse pilas.

I’ve been to El Palenque before at their old location, and I’m so happy they reopened in this area because we really don’t have many good Spanish/Mexican restaurants around here. The new spot is super cozy, aesthetic, and has great vibes.
For starters, they brought out fresh chips with a spicy salsa and sour cream—really nice touch. I ordered the birria quesadilla and it was delicious — cheesy, flavorful, and the consomé had so much taste. My friend got the beef tacos and she loved them too.
We both had horchata, which was refreshing and perfect with the food.
The service is friendly and very attentive. Good music, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect place to have dinner, talk, and enjoy your night. They also offer happy hour, which is a plus!
Definitely recommend and will be coming back again. ✨

This place is a vibe! The drinks are awesome! Not to mention the have great happy hour specials and all day drink deals that actually taste delicious! Their birria quesadilla is finger licking good! If you are up for authentic Mexican food with a new age cool vibe to hang out with friends then this is the place!

Mikey was honestly amazing. His hospitality was on another level, super welcoming and genuine. He really made the whole experience feel special. The way he treated us actually made my day, like wow. You don’t get service like that often anymore.Although he is small, he is the hardest working and you can’t even tell. He stays on top of everything nonstop. He is also very well groomed, and honestly his mustache stood out so much I swear he shampoos it.Our waitress was beautiful and so sweet. She had such good energy and was really attentive the whole time. And the food was phenomenal. Every single thing tasted so good. You could tell it was made with care.Overall just a great vibe, great people, great food. Definitely coming back.

Dont sit! Run to this place. Birria was excellent with cheesy crust and succulent meat. Burritos was delicious meat is soft and tacos were so good nothing was left even a little crumb. Portions are huge, service is with a smile. Amazing place.

The best place in the Manhattan Beach area We were a group of 4 and ordered soups, burritos, and tacos, and everything was super delicious. The cocktails were amazing, the restaurant was clean, and the service was wonderful. The whole atmosphere was very friendly and fun. The place is not fully opened yet, so the menu will be even more varied can’t wait to go back Highly recommended ♥️♥️♥️

El Palenque is such a hidden gem in Brooklyn! The vibe was great, the drinks were on point, and the birria tacos were amazing the cheese pull was insane. I also tried the ramen and it was warm, flavorful, and perfect comfort food. Everything came out fresh and the experience was overall a 10/10. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to, especially since they have $10 margaritas from 3–7pm. Highly recommend!
