Fried shrimp with fried rice, eggroll & fountain drink combo is massive. Generous portions that you will not get in most other places for the same value. The tastiest jumbo colossal shrimp & enormous fried rice serving can feed two adults yet the price is very affordable & reasonable. Quality food with lots of quantity you get both, don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. The burgers are also huge, delicious & the fries are chunky larg crinkle-cut, crunchy & tasty too. There is also a cold bar for burger/salad toppings fresh raw white onions, romaine lettuce, large sliced tomatoes & sauces. Highly recommend, open hours are only 10am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday so it’s a treat to stop by.

Came here during my lunch break with a coworker and it was awesome! Some of my colleagues had been here before and I see why. I just wanted a big fat juicy burger and this place delivered. Judging by the name “Burge Tex” I knew it had to be good! Certainly did not dissapoint! I had the bacon cheseburger combo and I like they have the additional toppings on a table side so you can add to your liking. The place was packed on a Friday but did manage to grab a table. I was excited but had to wait a long time (around 15 min) worth the wait I said to myself and wasn’t dissapointed at all! Everything came out fresh and the crinkle fries were fried and seasoned to perfection. The burger is the right size (not too big not too small) just right! Everything was delicious! Highly recommend if you want your burger fix!

Wanted to make my review after visiting twice. The food here is very delicious and gives the feeling of a home meal. The burgers are freshly made and their buns are perfectly toasted. They have a self serve bar with all the fixings you would like to add. Both times I saw someone constantly cleaning behind everyone to ensure health safety. The staff is very friendly. A great lunch spot!

The BEST burgers in the city hands down and they’re homemade. Not frozen patties.Burgers are huge, juicy and seasoned to perfection.They have all the fixings on the side so you literally make your burger your own.They clean/sanitize the tables before they open and sanitize condiments in the large containers.Nice and friendly as well.Of course we’ll be back

The Philly Cheese Steak was served on a burger bun, which is a little different than what I’m used to, but it was really good. The fries were crispy and the fountain Coke was good. The staff seemed nice. I’d go back again for sure when I’m in the neighborhood.

The wait time was minutes. You order and pay. They bring out your cooked food that’s hot!!!! Then you go to the fixings and pick what you want on your sandwich like lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, mayo, mustard or sandwich sauce. Everything was good. The onion rings were crispy and flavorful best I’ve had in years!
We didn’t have much of a wait time as we arrived at the opening for lunch. There are cleaning supplies in case you choose to wash your table before and after you finish.
The staff is friendly but down to business to keep the orders moving.
The restaurant was clean clean clean!!!
I will definitely be back! I can’t wait to try some of their other menu items.

Burger Tex was a little sketchy from the outside of the building but after we got our food we were amazed by the burgers and the fries and one of us had the catfish and it was amazing too. The homemade bun made the burger. Famous old saying don’t judge a book by its cover definitely came into play here. The workers were super nice to all of us as well.
