The service and atmosphere is okay! This was a business lunch and it will be the last time I stop here! I ordered the Pork Chops with broccoli and greens. Easy dish to make, well I was told that the cook knew! That’s not an excuse for my pork chop too come out cold, like it was cooked but cold like it was taken out of refrigerator and put on my plate, I kid you not!
The wings were good! Their whiskey 6 sauce was good!
I find it hilarious that your staff said it was hot, my server said you had a new cook!

We went to soft open in New Freedom location and everything was amazing! You order food and pay on computer at your seated table – which I’m more comfortable doing so than scanning the code on my phone. Staff were so friendly and I am so excited for grand opening!

New location. Slightly different than their Hanover spot ( in a good way)
Inviting environment, friendly service and good food.

Stopped in to try the wings. HUGE disappointment! They were waaaaay over cooked, tough and dry. I would suggest that kitchen staff purchase and use instant read thermometers and timers. FRY the wings to 165-170, no higher. Come on folks, this is Pub Grub 101, not rocket science in the kitchen. Please do better. Hire a cook who has some professional training and actually cares about the quality of the food being served. You’re charging +- $12 per pound for your wings, plus tax and a tip, yet a local grocery store consistently sells them for $1-$2 per pound. Give us a good reason to come in to your bar and spend $12 per pound for wings. They should be cooked to perfection for that amount of money.

This isn’t for the Hanover location this is for the shrewsbury/new freedom pa location. Food was amazing got the wings which were amazing best around I also got the sliders and they were so good. My wife got the crab cake and that was amazing as well and my friend got a cheesesteak and was good. The chips that come with the food were so good made fresh when ordered! I would recommend going there if you live in the area

Finally got to go there. We seemed to always try to go when they were closed, lol. It was great. Ordering from a kiosk was a bit weird. I like personal service when I go out to eat but my husband liked it because it didn’t make him feel rushed. We were very pleasantly surprised but the personal service of Terry. She is absolutely awesome. It made our experience that much better. The food was great. The appearance especially was impressive as well as delicious. We will definitely be back!!

I had a great time here! My server was super accommodating that I wanted to try multiple drinks and I ended up finding something I liked because I didn’t feel like he was pressuring me to pick a drink.

My husband and I came for a date night and had a great time! We were added to their list and received a text within the ten minute waiting time. There’s not a lot of space to wait inside, so we waited in our car (no biggie). Our server was Aubrey. She was sweet and checked in on us throughout our stay. I had questions about menu items and she was able to provide me answers and give recommendations on dishes, which I appreciated! We didn’t order any drinks so I can’t speak on those, but we did get an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Our app was the crap dip with soft pretzels. It was delicious!! We had to stop eating it to save room For mains my husband got the Whiskey D burger, and I got the Chesapeake Chicken. Hubs said the burger was good, and I loved the chicken, though I felt the sides were a bit lackluster. They weren’t bad–but they were not as impressive. For dessert, Aubrey recommended the Apple Waffle Sundae, but I’m not an apple fan so I asked about the lava cakes and she confirmed it was also delicious –she was right!! It was absolutely huge and we couldn’t finish it, but every bite was heavenly. The atmosphere/decoration of TapHouse6 is really beautiful. I loved that the hallway to the bathrooms was decorated like old-time store fronts. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. There’s also a changing table in the women’s room. It looks brand new and had a functional strap inside for babies. Overall, we had a really lovely time and enjoyed our date at TapHouse6! Thanks again, Aubrey!

TapHouse 6 in Shrewsbury did not disappoint—so much so that we went back two more times. From the steamed shrimp with onions to the burgers paired with freshly made Old Bay chips, everything was spot on. Ordering à la carte on the electronic tablet at the table was seamless, and the friendly staff delivered without a hitch. A special shout-out to Terry, the manager, who made her rounds clearing finished plates and making sure our dining experience was a great one.
