The food is great! I love it. However, they need a much better pick up system. You order food to go and it sits there forever. The people in the restaurant just make the orders of people that are coming in and nobody hands out the pick up orders. My order said it was done and people just kept adding more and more bags so many bags they were pilling on top of each other. That’s crazy. I believe their pick up system would be a lot better if they had a designated pick up person. But other than their pick up system, their food is perfect. And would’ve be even better if you can eat it while it’s hot.

Everybody on here lying the food is amazing I haven’t had some good fried fish greens and candied from a restaurant in a long time. The fact that I even have to make a review is appalling. I was expecting a delicious soul food meal, but the soul is missing. There has to be Jamaicans in the back cooking this because none of these Southern staples are hitting. The mac and cheese tastes like it was made by a toddler (somehow Kraft is better), the collard greens taste like cardboard, the yams are not yamming, the potato salad is a sorry excuse, and the shrimp was hilariously tiny and unseasoned. You’d be better off saving your money and going to Popeyes. I wasn’t even given utensils nor napkins. I only ordered here because Uber Eats had a BOGO sale, but even that wasn’t worth the money. I will not be shopping here again.

Delicious food. Excellent price. 2 for 1 can at beat it. My husband I have Uber eats from this restaurant a number of times and we are never disappointed. The other reviews always shock me. Because we are literally always satisfied. To the point that I wanted to go out of my way. To share my personal experiences. That have been nothing short of excellent.

The food is seasoned well and cooked through. The fries were okay. They were a bit hard once they were no longer crispy.
The sweet potato’s were sometimes sweet and sometimes very bland. The fish and shrimp were good as well.
What was the biggest disappointment is that we asked if the chicken was fried in the same oil as the seafood as my friend is allergic. The person at the counter said that it is all fried separate and not together. However, as my friend was eating, his tongue and lips started to swell. So if you have a seafood allergy it is prob best not to eat from there.

One of the staff there is absolutely DIGUSTING and UNPROFESSIONAL ! I placed an order on UberEats and My husband went to pick it up, when
He got there he explained to the lady at the counter that the order was placed on UBER EATS on the app. She misheard him and got confused thinking he said he placed the order over the phone, and the started yelling at him. Fortunately I was in the other line and was able to record the whole thing. Even after he told her to calm down she continued being condescending and just rude. It doesn’t matter how good your food is, the staff is a turnoff. Management needs to retrain their staff and TEACH the customer service, because I assure

Decent soulfood, they have a pretty good selection to choose from and the food is always hot and fresh. The food servers are usually kind, but sometimes it gets so busy in there that the service lacks especially when it comes to paying for your food. They need a more efficient system or they need more cashiers. They have a buy one get one special posted in the bay plaza store that is keeping them very busy. I’d recommend, but wouldn’t encourage visiting on a busy day like Saturday. Calling in and picking up might be your best bet if you don’t like waiting

There’s lots of cross contamination that takes place amongst the vast array of foods they offer. If you decide to go, be sure to ask your server to use fresh tongs or only the tongs designated for each dish. I still rate the food as good, but sometimes it gets very busy and the servers are moving fast and may not realize what they’re doing. I won’t change my rating, but I will not patron that location again.

First time going to bed stuy fish fry. I don’t eat seafood but there’s plenty on the menu that’s not seafood related. Staff were ok, not the most welcoming but definitely busy and constantly making sure customers are taken care of. There was one gentleman who seemed like a manager or maybe chef that was amazing. Greeted us warmly, asked if this was our first time. Took his time explaining to us the entire menu, how things are made and what is popular with other customers. He was AMAZING and honestly saved them from a customer service point of view. Prices are what you would expect nowadays. The portions are worth the price, very filling. I had one piece of chicken that was over cooked and hard to eat. But it did not ruin the meal. Overall, I would definitely go back again to try other things.
