The food was amazing. Authentic. It had such good flavor. Was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant. I gave a 3 star on the atmosphere because it does need updating. A fresh coat of paint and new bench cushions. But its totally 5 star food. And I saw food going out for pickup and that is wonderful to know.

Was passing through the area and tried this spot for dinner! My food was delicious, my server was attentive and kind. The rice is so flavorful and not greasy the way many other restaurants prepare theirs. I don’t usually finish my rice but I cleaned the plate here. The only downside was the rest of my group’s surprise at their bill in the end- which was really just “user error,” but things like extra sour cream come in at a $3.50 surcharge and that adds up quickly as one may expect.

So I ordered a molcajete. It’s served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. I ordered it spicy, because that’s how I like it. They brought me a literal bowl of soup. In a soup bowl. I had to ask for a spoon. It tasted like an off brand tomato soup with some meat and veggies. And to make it “spicy”, they stuck a whole jalapeño in it. No spice whatsoever. Not cooked in… not diced up… just swimming in what is supposed to resemble fajitas. Just vile. You get better mexican at taco bell. Make the few extra minute drive to there or even Jaliscos. I’ve had better margaritas at Applebee’s $1 night. The chips tasted 10 years old. Seriously the worst food I’ve ever had. I can’t believe they are still in business.

My wife and I just had a early dinner. In our opinion it’s a lot better than Jalisco’s hands down. We gave that place 1 star. If the customer would try this place, that place would go under fast.
