Nothing like meeting for coffee ☕️ with old friends. Today’s coffee shop du jour was @BadAssCoffeeMadisonNJ by the train station where the old movie theater was. It’s a cool spot with plenty of choices. Service was quick and friendly as well. We had our usual iced/hot latte combo the food and company were excellent as well. @BadAssCoffeeOfHawaii @jackie_and_steve1986 @experiencemadisonnj @madisonnjguide @madisonnj_gov

delicious coffee that actually tastes as good as the coffee i had in Hawaii!!! plus they use coffee ice cubes which is goated so the coffee doesn’t get diluted as you drink it. the three waves drink was my favorite with coconut, macadamia nut, and caramel. so worth it and it’s soooo smooth. lots of seating and i will 100% come back!

It’s been a minute since I enjoyed a really chill coffee spot. My brother has been having about this spot in the town next to his. It was a bout time I checked it. Out. I love it when the door welcomes you in before people do. “Aloha”. Cute. The dark wood finishes along with Hawaiian decor, is a vibe, and really clever marketing. Krystal , was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with my coffee selection process. My favorite part of my cold brew is the addition of coffee ice cubes. “Whhaaat?”. I don’t understand why the big chain places don’t understand this. Coffee shouldn’t be watered down. Hot or cold it is a delicious mix. The donuts are great, and I even got a plush because it’s too cute not to.

My friend and I drop by for coffee before classes on days where we know we’re gonna need some strong coffee. The drinks’ selection here is good and honestly the coffee is perfect for those days when you’re gonna be up and running all day. We’ve tried the sandwiches here a few times and found them too plain but that might just be us.

This was my first time here and the worker was very nice I believe her name was Isabel . I told her to make my latte less sweet and it was perfect . I got the monkey mocha , which is a chocolate latte with banana flavor . I also like how the ice cubes are coffee so it doesn’t water down your coffee. It was reasonably priced at $7.20 which isn’t a bad price for a locally owned coffee shop . I will definitely will be coming back

This is my FAVORITE coffee place ever! Let me say, I’m actually not a coffee drinker (too much caffeine doesn’t sit well). I’m a tea of all kinds gal. However, I’ve been feeling like Madison has been lacking a coffee place that has “different” and unique drinks. We all love Dunkin Donuts, but there is something about a new coffee place with exciting names and concoctions. Bad Ass coffee, is simply…BAD ASS. I tried their Koffee Kooler drink, and haven’t looked back lol. The online app and the service are 10/10, while the two main employees/managers I often see, have a work ethic that’s rare nowadays. They’re extremely nice and kind, as well. Please never leave (or run out of Koffee Kooler :))

Stopped in because our normal spot was crazy busy. Still doing their soft opening so we were in and out. Ordered the cold lava cold brew. Coffee seems a little light (I’m more a dark roast person), but I’d try again and maybe order something else.

Absolutely Phenomenal Coffee Spot — My New Go-To in Madison!

Bad Ass Coffee on Lincoln Place in Madison has officially become my new go-to spot — and honestly, I can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment you step inside, the vibe is just perfect. The place has an incredible ambience — warm, inviting, and full of personality. You instantly feel like you’ve been transported to a laid-back Hawaiian café, but with that friendly small-town Madison charm that makes you want to stay awhile.

The staff here truly make the experience next-level. Every single person behind the counter is incredible — friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Shane and Sheri are always upbeat, personable, and genuinely care about every customer who walks in. They remember your name and even remember your order, ask about your day, and somehow manage to make even the busiest mornings feel relaxed.
And then there’s Krystal — the amazing manager who deserves her own round of applause. She’s unbelievably friendly, full of energy, and somehow manages to bring sunshine into the shop no matter how early it is. It’s rare to see someone so passionate about both the people and the coffee — but Crystal sets the tone, and you can feel it in every visit.

One of the coolest parts about Bad Ass Coffee is that it’s Hawaiian-themed, and several of their brews are actually sourced straight from Hawaii. You can taste the difference — rich, smooth, and full-bodied with that unique island flavor that makes every sip stand out. The tropical inspiration shines through in both the atmosphere and the coffee itself, making it a truly one-of-a-kind spot.

The menu is massive and caters to everyone. Whether you’re a fan of bold, classic coffee or you’re someone who loves creative, flavored options, there’s something here for you. Their drinks are smooth, balanced, and crafted perfectly every time. On top of the coffee, they’ve got a great selection of food items — perfect for breakfast, a mid-day pick-me-up, or even a quick bite while hanging out and chatting with friends.

And if you’re like me and want to bring a bit of Bad Ass Coffee home, they’ve got you covered with a full lineup of bagged coffee, K-Cups, and a ton of awesome merchandise. You can grab mugs, travel tumblers, T-shirts, and even a little hula girl for your dashboard — a fun touch that totally captures their island spirit.

All in all, Bad Ass Coffee in Madison is everything you could want in a local coffee spot — friendly faces, amazing Hawaiian-inspired coffee, and a vibe that keeps you coming back. I’m proud to say I’m officially one of their regulars now, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Love this spot. Sheri, Krystal and Shane are phenomenal! I’m not a coffee drinker but I did try the iced caramel – very smooth and perfectly sweet. The matcha and banana bread latte are my favorites. The coffee ice cubes, all the different baked goods and drinks really sets Badass apart from other coffee shops. Also noticed they’re cheaper than Starbucks. Very impressed!
