Hip spot for quick-serve tacos with handmade tortillas, fresh salsas & limited other offerings.

Delicious tacos, and cool location. Was a perfect quick snack after DUMBO/Pebble beach. Very limited seating within, very close to park. No pics of Tacos, but the location is cool, loved having a snack under the iconic bridge.

Not sure why reviews were so bad. The food was good! The service is fine, nothing special. We had the alpastor bowl, super good. Price was 13.95 which is alright for under Dumbo.

In one word – overpriced.
In detail – the girl at the register provided good service. No issues here.
Prices went significantly up since the last time I came here. It’s now $5 / taco! (Al-Pator). This is beyond expensive, but the taco-truck wasn’t there today and I was craving tacos.
For that much you’ll have high expectations, right? Well, lower them. Mediocre at best (but they look good!).
They have their little station for lime, peppers, and hot sauce, just don’t ask for a condiments container of you take your food to go! The cook just told me they don’t carry any and to put it directly on the taco (BTW, they used to carry them).
Now we all know what happens to a tortilla when it’s wet for more than a few minutes, right? I had my tacos to-go and by the time I got to the office it was soggy and falling apart. Not even double tortillas
I’ve been working here before they opened. Back then the taste was better and obviously cheaper. I understand inflation, rent, etc but $5 per taco (that’s not even great) is high.
I won’t be back. Today was my last time.

I give them a zero—what a terrible service! I mean, on top of the fact that you almost have to prepare your own tacos, by that I mean you have to do everything yourself, including charging yourself and making the taco—that’s just too much. They charge $3.75 for a can of Coca-Cola, I mean, not even at a five-star restaurant! On top of that, they don’t know how to make tacos; not only are they overpriced, but they give you just one tortilla when tacos should have two. In other words, they charge way too much and make bad tacos. I don’t recommend them—don’t waste your money. There are plenty of taco places with excellent service and properly made tacos, but I’ve never seen a can of Coca-Cola for $3.75 anywhere. I won’t go back, man, don’t waste your time there.

Read till the end 🙂 Great location! Smelt great from the outside. Presented to look very well! However, it lacks flavor. Salad was very tasteless, especially considering how much “salsa” or “dressing” was in it, just taste like wet hot greens, with bland chicken. The pastor taco, the only flavor in that was the pineapples, had to douse the taco in like just to have some sort of taste. Also, tried to order a topo Chico, but the cashier said they were all out, looked around and noticed topo’s literally everywhere, even in the buckets to the right side of him..maybe throw a couple of those in the fridge? Won’t return here unfortunately.

The food was delicious, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the service made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. We had just approached an outside table and weren’t even fully seated when a staff member came out and abruptly asked if we had ordered yet. We explained that we were going to look at the menu online. She walked away but continued to watch us until we came inside to order, which felt uncomfortable.

The 3.5 rating for this place is such slander for a high quality taco shop in dumbo spitting distance from Brooklyn bridge.

I visited this restaurant and was disappointed by their policy of not allowing customers to sit unless they are consuming. Sometimes people want to wait for friends, rest a moment, or look at the menu before deciding, but staff made it clear that seating was only for paying customers. My husband went inside to place the order while my daughter and I waited outside. A worker came out just to let us know that we weren’t allowed to seat if we were not customers. Like why not to first ask if we needed any help. I understand that restaurants need to prioritize tables for diners, the way it was handled felt unwelcoming. A more flexible or polite approach would make the experience much better.
Updated 10/19: The OWNER response We only have six seats Next time try to park Thank you.
We did come to eat at your restaurant — my husband went inside to place our order while my daughter and I took a seat to wait. So we were in fact customers. I completely understand that seating is limited, but a little patience or a polite question before assuming otherwise would have made a big difference. It’s disappointing to see such a dismissive response instead of an effort to understand what actually happened.
