As a thriller and romance author, I like to get out of the house after a long day of writing and grab a solid pizza. I just released my new novel, The Bone Road, and nostalgia kicked in. That made Pizza Hut the obvious choice.
Yes, I’m guilty of leaving pizza bones. That’s a habit my friends and I picked up as kids and never grew out of. Since I just finished The Bone Road, leaving pizza bones actually felt appropriate. Why eat the crust when there’s more pizza to be had. Unless it’s one of the specialty crusts, like the cheesy stuffed crust, where eating the crust is the whole point.
The menus here are classic Pizza Hut. Thick plastic. Clean. Easy to wipe down. The restaurant itself is clean and well organized, and the staff is fun and personable. It feels relaxed and familiar in the best way.
I ordered the pepperoni lovers pizza. Maximum pepperoni was the goal. I hadn’t had that unmistakable Pizza Hut flavor in a long time, and there’s still nothing quite like it.
One of the longtime quirks of this Lewiston location is the crayon graffiti on the interior bricks. I’m not sure how long that’s been going on, but it feels like a local Lewiston–Clarkston tradition at this point.

The red, curly haired male manager is horrible. He was short staffed, had 5 DoorDashers waiting for orders for an extended amount of time. One Dasher left without a completed order telling him that he runs a poor business. As she left, he started cussing and tossing items in his area.

Food was decent but not great. Salad bar was out of a lot and I recieved attitude and when I told them about it. The place was very dirty. They were all out of silverware and almost out of drink cups. Our server was obviously having a bad day!!! Very rude and short with us and co workers. Will definitely be choosing somewhere else next time or ordering online.

I ordered a pizza from the store again after taking a break and the pizza came a few minutes late and they sent me a code for free pizza to make up for it I was going to use it right away but it said on their website it’s not good at that store. So me and my family dine in and the servicer was not okay. They brought us our food and not even 5 minutes after that just because my 8 month old started crying there was another family there kids and a new born that was also crying the sever brought us our check and was rushing us out we didn’t even get to take a bite of our food. Before she brought our check and Togo boxes. I don’t recommed doing dine in if you have kids under 3 years of age because they treat you horribly. My family always ordered from them delivered but tonight we wanted to dine in and that was the worst thing we have ever decided. The food was great but the service was the worst ever. They are not kid friendly

We left without ordering. The server glared at us a couple of times before bringing over the menu. She tossed the menu on the table, with another glare. No greeting, no hello, nothing. Then, she walked to another table that came in after us and took their order. We figured our business was not needed there and walked out.

My meat lovers melt was a little over cooked. Meaning the crust pocket was kinda hard. But after pulling away the burnt parts it was purdy good. Service was good.
