We went to this bakery for breakfast. It has a dining/seating area and is more a restaurant than bakery (though there is a bakery counter. We ordered the Chami pork benedictine and baked French toast. Both were very good and the prices were quite reasonable. The bakery items looked very good but we didn’t try them. I will return next time we are in town.

What a place. Talk about great quality, superb service and enjoyed sitting at the counter with my wife watching the staff multi task and helping each other. Please raise your prices. You all deserve a raise and in CT where we are from, this would of cost us double!!!!!

I stopped here for an early breakfast. I ordered the Portuguese French Toast w/ Linguica. The food was outstanding & very reasonably priced. The bakery’s atmosphere had a nostalgic vibe to it. They offered a variety of baked goods. Cash only & they’re open from 6a-2p daily. The service staff was kind ❤️

Food is always hot when delivered and perfectly cooked. You get a good amount for the cost, which is super reasonable. I never leave hungry or broke.

Was there for breakfast mid week and everything was great. My wife and I both chose the veggie Omelette + with Portuguese toast and home fries. We shared a side of bacon. Was hard to leave not buying some of the delicious bakery items.

Service was quick and food delived fast!! It is cash only so be prepared.

Love this place. Especially for breakfast. Absolutely authentic. Make sure to pick up a few malasadas on your way out.

We had some nice pastry and muffins, but the Portuguese sweet bread they sold us on Saturday morning was undated and stale by Sunday afternoon.
To be fair, they directed us to Shaw’s supermarket where the sweet bread was as good as theirs, cheaper. and fresh.

Right across the street from our hotel, we visited Mary Ellen’s! Fast and tasty! We enjoyed the Portuguese Toasts/Bread and Portuguese sausage, Linguiça. There’s also parking for inquiring minds. It was packed on a Sunday morning at 10am ☕
