Great Turkey Club and lunch and for dinner, would recommend splitting the Pizza and Meatballs. Fun to sit at the bar for Negronis and also love that they have Pliny on draft.

This was the only food option for us for the evening. They were able to get us a table without having a reservation on a Friday evening. Food service was slow, but the food did not disappoint. Service was attentive and courteous. The steaks were tasty and cooked well to order. Save room for the dessert!

We dined at table twice in Iris. Some of us really enjoyed their dinner orders, others thought their meals were so-so. Two of us had the steak dinner and enjoyed it immensely. The diner who ordered the half chicken had little to say about it – neither raved nor pushed it aside. The peanut butter chicken ramen was a real hit, something that looked and smelled so good I wish I had ordered it. The buratta & beet salad was standard, if a little light on beets. The lasagna also was standard, not any better than the frozen dish from Trader Joe’s one would bake at home. I had a glass of the Chianti classico, which was astringent and wholly lacking in fruit.

Four of us returned for breakfast the next day, as Iris was the only option. The high desert standard was just that, standard. The oats were oats. Two of us had the steak and eggs, and quite enjoyed the meal. One of us did not care for the fried battered potatoes, while the other three couldn’t stay away from them.

We stayed at Juniper Preserve for two nights for our anniversary. Our trip was great overall. We loved the rooms and we got massages and the spa was lovely.

However the restaurant was a huge miss for us and I wish we would have gone elsewhere for dinner. We showed up for our reservation on time. When the host greeted us he pointed at the worst table right behind him and asked if that was okay. It was a large four top table and there were only two of us, we said we’d prefer a table with a bit of a view if possible since the sunset was beautiful and there were plenty of smaller open tables. Oddly he was super snippy back and it felt like the service just went downhill from there. We were there for over 30 minutes before our cocktails arrived and an hour and a half before our dinner arrived with zero apology or even acknowledgement. My wife got the ribeye and it was the saltiest steak I’ve ever tasted in my life. WAY overpriced. Her old fashioned also tasted like watered down Jack Daniel’s. My halibut wasn’t bad but not worth the price.

Great resort but don’t recommend this restaurant at all if you have any other options.

Luxurious and delicious. The chef checked in with us and is clearly passionate about the food. Love the portobello fries.

We had a great experience at Iris. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet, the cocktails were excellent, the food was very good, and service was superb. The Octopus, tartare, and rib-eye were incredible, but the crispy duck fat potato’s were the star of the show.

We’ve eaten at all the fine eateries in Central Oregon and Iris is definitely on par with the best. We will be back!

Very good, and very expensive. We stayed at the lodge for a few days. Had dinner twice, and breakfast once, at Iris. The food and service were top notch. But, just be aware that the prices are bonkers.
