Best new place to go for me and it’s not a new place they have been around. Have the best pizza, sandwiches and handmade drinks! Servers are so sweet so friendly. It is a must go! Go see for yourself because it just might be your next favorite place. A hidden gem!

Overall a decent spot. The cheesy bread was great, but the pizza was a floppy mess. All the toppings fell off leaving only the bread base. The taste was ok. I got the honey pie and my wife got the pepperoni pizza. The overall taste of the pizzas were not good. Sadly I can’t recommend this spot.

It was my 1st time going after having moved here years ago lol. I had a taste for pizza and didn’t want the standard Pizzahut/domino’s/ and Papa John’s shut down. Anyway, it was good. However , I wasn’t amazed or would now label it my #1 spot for pizza.
It taste good. The price was kinda of high for the size of the pizza. Also the parking is difficult. It’s on the main street in downtown Ruston. I luckily got one on the street however getting out and into the car was extremely difficult especially at the most congested part of the day…

Came in last night and the place was packed! We bellied up to the bar and it took about 5-10 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us, which made me really nervous that this was going to be a bad experience. However, once he got in the groove, drinks, refills and food were prompt and delicious! I had the Downtown pizza on a cauliflower crust- thank you gluten free!!!- (added arugula) and it was absolutely amazing! With the add ons, $20 for the pizza and $10 per glass of wine. We will be back!
UPDATE: Back again for the same conference in Ruston and it’s still good! They didn’t have my cauliflower crust the first time, so I got to eat what every person with Celiac falls back on. delicious salad! However, they did have my crust the next week and the pizza was very good, although I don’t think I got $2 worth of arugula. Still, a great experience!

I’ve been here several times and absolutely love it. The Downtown is my favorite pizza and never misses! The salads are delicious, but I’d recommend getting dressing on the side for more control. Service is always helpful and friendly, even when busy. The acoustics are not great and it can be very noisy inside, but the outside patio is excellent for a more relaxing evening. I’m not much of a drinker, but I love getting to try the beer samples. And their Blackberry Bramble cocktail is a standout. Sooo refreshing

Decided to go with the Smokey Pig and Downtown Pizza. They were both excellent. Really fresh ingredients with a perfect thin crust. The Smokey Pig has the right BBQ taste balanced with right amount of heat. The Downtown has more of a cheesy flavor; really good! Great service too!

Was visiting Ruston to catch up with
some friends. Glad we stopped by. Really tasty beer and delicious pizza.
Really cool that they are using hops from Germany, specifically from Bamberg, Germany.
We’ve been to Bamberg, Germany many times. The Brew Master really knows the craft!! That’s why their beer taste so good. Use quality ingredients, get delicious results!!

I don’t know if I should start with their wood-fired oven pizza or their selection of craft beers.
I’ll start with the beers, as did I.
They’ve got a roughly rotating selection of local craft beers on tap, including an IPA, a hefeweizen, a stout, and a few citrusy ales. All quite good, all quite tasty.
But what good is beer without food? Their pizzas are the perfect size, and delicious to boot. I had the November monthly pizza, and given the veggies and lightness of the pizza, it almost felt like healthy food. Hell, it probably was.
The folks were friendly and attentive, as well. Honestly, a brick-walled, wood-ceiling, cement-counter, beer-n-pizza establishment that’s worth visiting for either, and especially for both!
