Fabulous place, it’s a meaty sort of place as the name suggests. There is a separate vegetarian / vegan menu that gives a variety of dishes. My wife had the mac & cheese which was very nice. I had the pitmaster burger, it was utterly amazing. The full rack of ribs was large and very tasty. No one in our party had any complaints. The service was excellent, the waitresses were friendly and hard working, a credit to the restaurant.

Nice ambience, incredibly welcome staff, nice food!
The food was delicious.
The waitress serving us was always with a welcoming smile and responsive to our queries. Helped with some order changes – she was very professional and an example waitress for such nice venue! Thank you Phoebe

SERVICE CHARGE which we were not told about! Its for good service which we didnt receive! My husband, daughter and myself went for a meal yesterday at the swansea branch. We ordered 3 rump steaks 2 medium and one medium rare. My medium was swimming in blood. It was blue, the middle of the meat resembled jelly. My daughter who ordered medium rare her food was overcooked and my partners was rare. The chips had black bits in and were not nice. The bill came to £134 with an £11 service charge included? Which we were not told about beforehand. I didnt see it printed on the price list either. I would of questioned this if I had seen the bill. 2nd and last time I eat there. I’ve added the receipt to show the £11 service charge. Why would you rip off someone who is in a wheelchair?

I had super high expectations for Cattle and Co as the whole menu oozed fresh meats and property BBQ foods. However we ordered the burgers and it was so disappointing to taste they’d used two ultra processed patties. Beyond the sauces and extras that were in the burgers (which were delicious), you also get that distinct fun fair burger taste come through, and when you cut in to it, you can tell it’s not a freshly made burger.
At £19 for the Philly Burger, we really expected fresh. They’re so easy to make and taste so much better. Disappointing.

We also had the pork belly ends which were proper meat and they were delicious, as were the fries and slaw, but the disappointment of the patties overshadowed the whole meal.

The service was also pretty slow, not coming out of the kitchen, but rather the waiter staff. Whilst waiting to order, most of them were by the bar chatting and when someone finally came over to serve some food to another table, we called them over (with two menus still in front of us and after about 15mins of sitting there) and they asked, “can I help you”? Hmm yeah, we’d like to order please.

Overall, I would come back to try other meats on the menu but I’d recommend staying away from the burgers until they make them from scratch.

An attractive looking restaurant near the arena in central Swansea.
The turkey was ok but tasted no different to any roast turkey I’ve ever had. I assumed it being a “smokehouse” it would be smoked. Good sized portions but somewhat overrated.

Wonderful place to get grilled/barbecue foodie!
From steaks, burgers, through briskets to ribs – and those last ones we highly recommend
With chips, coleslaw, delicious pickles and sauces it’s really great option.
You can upgrade toppings or go with combo options.
With wide choice of drinks you can’t complain of not being spoiled.

To be fair – it’s not the cheapest place to go for meal but quality and fab taste if everything pays off.

Very professional, fast and friendly service it’s another plus.
Unfortunately get bot really clean glasses for beer.

First time here and we were not disappointed. To start our server Liv was just exceptional and made our evening really great. And then we got the food which was so good, the brisket was the best I’ve had, better than the big easy. The pit beans were a little on the spicy side and the only thing I would suggest needs adding to the menu is cornbread muffins. Go for the dusted fries they are really tasty and try the white BBQ sauce especially if you like ranch but it’s honestly better than ranch. We will be back.

Came here with a party of 7 people on a Friday night for a friends birthday.
Was really excited to try the food as I’d heard good things about the Llanelli branch, the menu looked amazing and I ordered the “smashed cattle and Co burger”.
There was nothing “smashed” about this burger, the 2 patties were processed, perfectly round, tasteless and similar to something you’d get from a roadside burger van or a McDonald’s.
In fact, I’d say a McDonald’s burger has more flavour.
I also added bacon for an additional cost and there was one pathetic bit of streaky bacon on the burger.
Absolutely tasteless all round.
My friends meal was even more awful, barely edible but the service had been so slow he decided it wasn’t worth sending it back.

I ordered a bottle of Zinfandel which was £23- when it came it was a 10% alcohol bottle of wine. Absolutely unacceptable to serve in a restaurant. It tasted like a £4 bottle of echo falls, was more like squash than a wine you’d expect to receive in a restaurant charging these prices.
Pint of Guinness was pushing £7 quid, and the food prices are extortionate for the quality of food.
I’d like to say that the place was fully booked and maybe that’s why things weren’t great, but it really wasn’t that busy.

Staff were pleasant but the overall service was slow and lack lustre, had the food been amazing, this wouldn’t have mattered as much.

Would not advise anyone to go here.
